To this union one son, Donald Robert Noble was born. They later divorced. Sharon was very active in the Albany Baptist Church. She worked another thirteen years, retiring at age 78. Sharon also had a part time job working at Roberson-Polley Chapel for Bryan and Linda Polley for 13 years, which she dearly loved. Sharon was always friends with her childhood neighbors Dick Hardin and his family. You could always get Whitton Switch stories at the Chevrolet garage if you stopped in when Sharon and Dick were there drinking coffee. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Violet Noble and her brother, Gary Francis. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Bonnie Noble, Albany, MO; one grandson, Nathan and Alisha Noble; four great grandchildren, Kylie, Kamrie, Kinley and Kennady Noble, all of Albany; Meagan Chapman and family; nieces, Susan Holt and Sheri Jean Nible, both of Richmond, MO. Frances Jones

Frances Jones

Age - 76

November 28, 2023

Frances "Annette" (Wiley) (Marsh) Jones was born into her legacy as a warrior June 19, 1947, to Ray Franklin and Letha Mae (Findley) Wiley. She gained her wings surrounded by her children and so much love on November 25, 2023. Annette was a younger half-sister to Robert Davidson and Dorothy Wiley (a sister she never met) and an older sister to Danny and Denny Wiley. She would often speak of her younger years as trying to keep the boys "on track. " Occasionally that consisted of locking them out of the house to get her house chores completed. Annette graduated from Albany High School in 1965, as a Warrior. A few months after graduation she married her high school sweetheart, Larry Marsh. To this union three children were born, Jeffrey Alan, Jennifer Rae, and Jill Annette. She never shied away from hard work, even at an early age. She worked at the Stanberry Cap Factory, but her true favorite work was at Piz Ridge on the family dairy farm, now known as the Marsh place. The drought in the mid 1980s took a toll on the finances, marriage, and her mental health. Annette later married Ronald Jones, Jr. with whom she had a son, Justin Wiley. Now having even more family, she enjoyed catching up on the phone. She loved hearing about all of her nieces and nephews. Annette loved taking car rides with the radio up and reading a good book. She often visited the Gentry County Library and the Albany Carnegie Public Library. Annette loved to learn and teach. She taught her children the meaning of love, perseverance, kindness, caring, compassion, and some stubbornness. She was so very proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchild. She loved to hear stories as to what they were up to and all of their orneriness. She continued her legacy as a Warrior after battling mental health issues, the death of her eldest son, cancer in 1995, the death of her husband, broken bones, cancer again in 2015, more broken bones, and more cancer. Through all of this you would never once hear her complaining. She would even go as far as saying cancer saved her life after the death of her son. Annette was a true caregiver. Annette naturally connected with people throughout Gentry County, Missouri and beyond. She loved people, and she loved giving back in ways both big and small. Annette continued to touch lives at both King City and Pineview Manor. Bean auctions were her passion while living at Pine View Manor. Annette loved a good "party," dancing with her kids in the dining halls on holidays, being a competitor at all games especially at Uno with her daughter. She loved a good purse, pair of shoes, and fashion shows, as well as always keeping everything and everyone in order. Annette was preceded in death by parents Ray & Letha Wiley, son Jeffrey Marsh, husband Ronald Jones, Jr. , brother Robert Davidson, and roommates at King City and Pine View Manor. Survivors include brothers Danny Wiley and Denny Wiley, children Jennifer (Doug) Waugh, Jill (Steve) Clair, Justin (Silver) Jones, grandchildren Zach and Stuart Waugh, Madison and Garrett Clair, and little Miss Baby Jones arriving in May, and great-granddaughter Alaska Clair. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Enyart Cemetery or Pine View Manor Bean Auction in care of the Roberson-Polley Chapel, 403 N. Hundley, Albany, MO 64402. Sarah Malson

Sarah Malson

Age - 71

August 15, 2023

Sarah C Malson, 71, of Albany, Missouri passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023 at MOSAIC Life Care, St. Joseph. Sarah was born on May 1, 1952 to Mary Osborne Malson and Theodore Malson. She lived her whole life at her childhood home on W. Canaday Street in Albany. She graduated from Albany High School and then attended Northwest Missouri State University. Those who knew Sarah will remember her many years as a paraprofessional working for the Albany School District for almost 40 years. She cared deeply for her students and stayed in contact with many of them after they graduated. She also had many colleagues turned friends whom she cherished until the end. Sarah was an avid gardener, baker, and had a vivacious love for animals. Throughout the years, she has given friends tons of garden produce, baked thousands of casseroles and desserts, and cared for hundreds of kittens and puppies. Sarah was considered a member of the Newman family for most of her life. Jim and Debby's children, Cody, Heather, Hayley, and Jacob shared any good times with Sarah and her mother, Mary. Sarah got great joy reliving those memories by telling stories about the ornery Newman kids. The past 20 years Sarah was an integral part of Cody, Melissa, Gabby, and Cade Newman's lives. The Newman family 'down the hill' as she referred to them. She helped care for Gabby and Cade. She attended many activities and ballgames. And gave them hours of joy every summer with new litters of kittens. Sometimes the kittens went to the Newmans' house and never returned. Melissa and Cody depended as much on Sarah as she did them. It was a wonderful 'framily'. Sarah also kept up with the other Newman children and their new and extended families. Many newspaper clippings and pictures can be found stashed around the house. She loved all of them, and they loved her in return. Sarah was preceded in death by her father, Ted, a sister, Teddy Sharon, and her mother Mary whom she cared for until her death. She is survived by Cody, Melissa, Gabby, and Cade Newman, and her beloved dog, Dixie May, Heather Newman-Elder (Lester), Levi and Tanner. Hayley Newman-Fox (Scott), Cale and Kinley. Jacob Newman (Rachel), Elly, Payton, and Ava. Jim Newman (Tilly Lotspeich), and Debby Ware-Jackson. She is also survived by her Uncle Bud Osborne of Bethany, and her Aunt Suzanne Young of Fulton. Sarah is no doubt enjoying some rest from all the gardening, baking, and care-giving. But, her sweets, her smile, her kindness, and her generosity will be missed by all.
