"Sharon Lee Lutz, a 21-year resident of Rowlett, TX, passed away September 8, 2023, at the age of 63. She was born December 15, 1959, in Germany to Billy and Joan (Finch) Stephenson. Sharon was a devoted homemaker, mother of three, loving grandmother and sister. A typical redhead, she was full of character and very brave. She was both protector and cheerleader to her children. Sharon was a Christian woman who opened her home to others, helping and feeding those in need. She was full of life and her encouraging and forgiving presence will be dearly missed. Sharon is survived by her children: Nicole McBee and husband Leslie, Kevin Lutz and wife Madison, Haley Lutz; grandchildren: Haydn McBee, Kylie Thomas, Breleigh Thomas, Kennedy Lutz-Martin, Emory Lutz; brother: Gary Knecht and wife Melinda; boyfriend: David Hoegger. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Beverly Montigue, and brother Dwayne Stephenson. "

"Foster Edward Evans, Jr. , age 78, of Rowlett, TX, passed away November 24, 2023. He was born December 5, 1944, in Washington, D. C. , to Mary Helen (Logan) and Foster E. Edwards, Sr. When Foster was two years old, he and his family moved from Washington, D. C. , to Dallas, TX. He attended Bryan Adams High School. From 1978 to 1993, he lived in Rockwall, TX; then moved to Rowlett. Foster was a hard worker and was a custom home builder for 30-plus years. He had a love of music and was an excellent drummer, and he was a true Dallas Cowboys fan. Foster is survived by his loving wife of 46 years: Betty Evans; children: William Whitton and wife Dell, Laurie Willmon and husband Dean, Chandra Evans, Bryan Denson and wife Michelle, Tanner Evans, and Kimberly Chiles; grandchildren: Heather Trejo, Logan Evans, Brayden Evans, Billy Whitton, Morgan Willmon, Ryan Willmon, Jacob Willmon, Casie Whitton, and Danny Whitton; great-grandchildren: Danny Whitton, Piper Willmon, Rylie Whitton, and Hattie Whitton. "Destiny Nicole Griffin, age 35 of Rowlett, TX, passed away November 24, 2023. She was born July 18, 1988, in Dallas, TX, to Gerry Wayne Griffin and Jennifer Renee (Johnson) Griffin. At age 12, Destiny was baptized at Eastside Church of Christ in Garland, TX. She was a charismatic individual who was loving and kind to all. She was also a gifted poet who loved working with children, and in her spare time enjoyed music. Most of all, Destiny loved spending quality time with her kids. She is survived by her parents, Gerry and Jennifer Griffin of Rowlett, TX; son: Montrey Taylor; daughter: Maelee Busby; sister: Leslie Griffin; brother: Gerry Griffin II; nephew: Luca Lazon; five aunts: Marie Griffin, Helen Chism, Deloise Griffin, Carol Griffin and Michelle Griffin; and uncle: Lonnie Griffin. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Melvin and Rosie Griffin of Royse City, TX. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Friday, December 1, 2023, at Greenville Avenue Church of Christ, 1013 S. Greenville Ave, Richardson, TX 75081. "Michael James Frankwick, age 51 of Rowlett, TX, passed away November 13, 2023. He was born February 9, 1972 in Marshfield, WI, to James Allen Frankwick and Kathleen Marie (Potter) Wood. In his spare time, he absolutely loved music and concerts as well as cars and racing. His favorite hobbies included motorcycles and his jet boat. Mike loved camping, snowmobiling and the Green Bay Packers. Mike\u0027s most precious time was spent with his wife, daughter, and his best buddy Tukker in the backyard grilling and smoking his favorite foods. Always a problem-solver, he could fix just about anything, helped anyone in need, and was a friend to everybody. His positive attitude and sense of humor drew people to him, and he treated his friends as family. He was free spirited and loved to make those around him laugh. Mike was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and uncle, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years Tonya, daughter Cotique, mother Kathleen Wood (Michael), father James Frankwick, sister Kerry Frankwick, stepsister Jessica Wood (Noah), stepbrother Cory Wood (Gina), grandmother Norma Potter, mother and father in-law Don (Rita) Multerer, brothers in-law Jason (Courtney) Multerer and Shawn (Melissa) Multerer, and nieces and nephew Brooklyn, Stella and Zander. He is further survived by his large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins, and his work family who "always had his back. " Mike was preceded in death by his grandfather Robert Potter. ROWLETT, TEXAS - Martin Conrad (Marty) Munson, 81, of Rowlett, Texas, died Friday, Nov. 10, 2023, at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Lake Pointe Hospital in Rowlett. Martin C. Munson was born on February 16, 1942, in Albion, Nebraska, to Roy W. Munson and Lucille G. (Knutsen) Munson. Marty graduated from Columbus High School in 1960. He enlisted in the United States Navy following high school and attended Midland Lutheran College in Fremont following his service. Marty married Jean A. Treinies on August 7, 1965, in Columbus at Trinity Lutheran Evangelical Church. Marty worked for several companies between Fremont and Columbus, Nebraska, including Bee Line Logistics and Trucking, Cornhusker Public Power District, Douglas & Lomason/Magna International, Fischer Trucking, and NATCO. Marty transferred from NATCO in Columbus to Grand Prairie, Texas, when his and Jean's first grandson was born. Marty was very involved with his two sons, which included serving as the Sunday School Director and Treasurer for Trinity Lutheran Evangelical Church for several years through each of their confirmations. Marty was very interested in classic cars and could regularly be found in his garage working on his car or in one of his friend's garages giving them a hand. He owned a classic car even while he lived in Texas. He loved his grandsons, furry grandbabies, the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Chicago Bears. He is survived by his wife Jean A. Munson of Rowlett, Texas; sons, Bryan (Jennifer) Munson of Rockwall, Texas, and Drew Munson of Rowlett, Texas; grandsons, Trevor Munson of Kearney, Nebraska, and Jake Munson of Rockwall, Texas; brother, Rich Munson of Lincoln; sister-in-law, Joyce (Tribble) Munson of Greenville, MS; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy W. Munson and Lucille G. (Knutsen) Munson of Columbus, Nebraska; brother, David C. Munson of Carrollton, Georgia; and sister-in-law, Donna L. With great sorrow, the Hampson and Tucker families announce the passing of their kind mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, and friend. Rexine Hampson, 78, of Rowlett, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 12th, 2023 with her family lovingly by her side. Born May 24, 1945 to Rex and Athelia "Tillie" Jackson in Bonham, Texas, Rexine grew up in Grand Prairie and Garland, Texas with her sister, Ann Tucker. She graduated from Garland High School in 1963 where she made lifelong friendships. Rexine retired in 1998 after working 27 years at Texas Instruments, after which she was able to spend her time with her adored grandchildren and family. Rexine also loved baseball and attending Texas Rangers games with her son and grandchildren. In recent years, Rexine enjoyed high school alumni gatherings and serving with her church family. Rexine was predeceased by her father Rex Jackson and mother Athelia "Tillie" Jackson. She is survived by her son Adam Hampson and his wife Heather, grandchildren Joshua, Noah and Katie, sister Ann Tucker and her husband Gary, niece Stacey Taylor, grand-nieces Megan Franks and Ashley Taylor, aunts Veda Nichols and Dyphene Parsons, and uncle J.
