MINNEOLA - Sharon Keltner, 69 died Friday, June 17, 2022 at Sumner County Hospital District One, Caldwell, Kansas. She was born on August 19, 1952 the daughter of Richard and Dorothy (Harris) Hoover in Perryton, Texas. After graduating from Fort Hays State University, she worked as a registered nurse for 40 years. She was a member of the Minneola United Methodist Church. Sharon loved her Lord, her family and friends. She liked helping others every time she got the chance. On August 19, 1973 she married Jim Keltner at Meade, Kansas. He survives. She is also survived by her daughter, Stephanie Keltner; son, Lance Keltner and wife Elizabeth; 3 grandchildren, Emery, Judah and Aubry; 3 sisters, Beverly Kernohan and husband Bob, Marilyn Walter and husband Mike, and Jacque Ediger and husband Jeff; along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial service will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at the Minneola United Methodist Church with Rev. Kip Ryherd officiating. There will be no public visitation, cremation has taken place. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date. The family suggests memorials to World Venture or a Christian Charity of your choice, both in care of Minnis Mortuary, 1901 N. 14 Ave. , Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
