Seymour Wachtenheim Obituary

Dr. Seymour "Sy" Wachtenheim, 95, beloved husband of the late Mary (Winer) Wachtenheim, loving father of Judy (Joel Bookman) Wachtenheim and Dan (the late Linda) Wachtenheim, grandfather of Julie (Tim) Entwistle and great grandfather of Jemma and Jude Entwistle. Preceded in death by sister Ruth Chausow. Fond uncle and friend to many. Dr. Wachtenheim was a proud veteran serving his country in the Korean War. He was a dentist in private practice for over 40 years. After his retirement, he led the Illinois continuing education program for the Academy of General Dentistry for over two decades. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p. m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd, Wilmette. IL, Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
