Longino, David Salinas, Mariaelena (Rudy) Gasca and the late Luis Alberto Martinez. Much loved great grandmother of Adeline Rose Marie Longino, Jesus Luciano Flores Jr., Emmett Longino and Mateo Longino. Charlie served in the United States Army during World War Il where he survived the Battle of the Bulge. Soon after he was awarded the Bronze Star for meritorious action in GermanyOnce he returned from the war Charlie attended the University of Illinois campus located on Navy Pier ("Harvard on the Rock") where he earned his bachelor's degree. He then attended John Marshall Law School where he earned his Juris Doctorate. He went on to work at Harris Trust & Savings Bank (now BMO) for 35 years, retiring as Vice President, Banking Dept.Growing up within a baseball's throw of Wrigley Field, Charlie was a lifelong Cubs fan.
