James "Jim" A. Regan, 57, of Woonsocket, died February 19, 2024 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. He was the husband of Cynthia (Gullbrand) Regan. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Timothy Sr. and Elizabeth (Fowler) Regan. Jim was the owner of Creatures Pet Store, North Smithfield. He loved all animals and enjoyed the beach. Along with his wife, Cindy, he is survived by their children, Kaitlyn Murphy and her husband, Devan, and Sarah Regan, all of Woonsocket; his siblings, Elizabeth Guertin and her husband, George of North Smithfield and John Regan of Johnston; his sister in law, Ann Regan of Johnston; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Timothy Jr. and Patrick Regan, and Barbara Gomes. His funeral will be held Sunday, February 25, 2024 starting with a visitation at 2PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main Street, Woonsocket, followed by a service at 4PM. Mark K. Roderick, 65, of Woonsocket, died February 14, 2024 in Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of Lorraine (Lauzon) Roderick. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Anthony and Carolina (Pimental) Roderick. Mark worked for Lantor Filtration Co., Bellingham. He enjoyed working on and building cars. He was a phenomenal guitarist and was quite adept at refurbishing for anyone that needed it. Mark will be remembered as being extremely kind-hearted and willing to help anyone that asked. Richard A. Gosselin, Sr., 75 of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, died February 16, 2024, at home with his family. He was the husband of Mary (Phillips) Gosselin whom he married July 30, 1966. Born in Woonsocket, RI. He was the son of the late Bertha (Rivers) Laquerre and the son of the late Rene Lefrancois. Mr. Gosselin worked for CVS Warehouse, Woonsocket, RI for many years and Dennisons Warehouse in Framingham, MA for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He had a love for sports, especially the Yankees. During family gatherings, he was the life of the party. Along with his wife, Mary, he is survived by 4 children, Lisa Lachapelle and her husband Bruce of Burriville, RI, Sandra Bonollo and her husband Nello of Uxbridge, MA, Leslie Desrosiers and her husband Matthew of Millville, MA, and Richard Gosselin, Jr., of Burriville, RI and seven grandchildren, Chantel, Paige, Breanna, Angelia, Paige, Matthew Jr., Richard and Alex and two great grandchildren, Alivia and Harper as well as his siblings, Theresa Desplechin, Rachel Gosselin, Joyce Boxhold and the late Gerard Gosselin. The last several months he was cared for by HopeHealth Hospice (Valerie Toure and Carol Bailey) who truly gave him the upmost care and truly cared for him. A Memorial will be held at a later date.

Heroux, Sr. (deceased) and lived in Woonsocket over 70 years. After moving to Woonsocket, she was employed at Jacob Finklestein's & Sons for 30 years as a purchasing agent. After retiring, Louise attended the Community College of RI for 2 years and received her Associates Degree in Business, with honors, at the age of 70. Attending St. James Episcopal Church for many years, Louise was the President of the St. James Senior Club and she was the former Secretary/Treasurer for the St. James Nightingale Club. She also volunteered her time assisting in the many holiday fairs, breakfasts and the church food bank that were sponsored by St. James Episcopal Church. Her hobbies were reading, knitting, sewing, arts and crafts, puzzles, coloring, and she was an avid bowler for over 50 years. Louise was a gentle and giving person dedicated to her husband, children and grandchildren. Louise is survived by her children: Gerard A. (Christine) Heroux, Jr. of Punta Gorda, FL, Christine C. (Raymond) Tardie of Punta Gorda, FL and Michael A. Heroux of Cumberland, RI. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 great/great grandchildren. Raymond R J Bourget 78, of Mowry St. passed away on February 9, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Claire Sylvie (Pelletier) Bourget for fifty-five years. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of Joseph and Celina (Coutu) Bourget. Ray was a US Navy Veteran and served during the Vietnam War. Ray was a truck driver for most of his life, he worked for United East for over twenty-three years, where he also worked in the warehouse. He then worked for Overnight Transportation, which later became UPS Freight, for fifteen years. Ray liked to keep fit, he was an avid jogger, and enjoyed going to the gym. Ray volunteered for AARP and the voting polls. He was very proud of his property and his cars and took great care of them. He loved to cook and bake. Ray was a wonderful husband and a great provider and will be sadly missed by his family. Besides his wife he leaves a daughter Renee Bourget and a son Jeffrey Bourget and his fiancée Erica Dupree all of Woonsocket, a sister Lorraine Laplante of North Smithfield, and three grand daughters Bethany, Audrianna, and Calandra. He was predeceased by his brother Roland Bourget. His funeral will be held Thursday, February 15, 2024, from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket, beginning at 10:00 AM with a service in the funeral Home at 11:00 AM. Arthur A. Hebert Sr. Arthur A. Hebert, 84 of Woonsocket sadly passed away peacefully on February 6, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Woonsocket, RI on August 12, 1939. He is survived by his four sons; Arthur Hebert Jr.; wife Zai; of Venice Florida; Marc Hebert; wife Gerlyn; of Woonsocket RI; Michael Hebert of Woonsocket RI; and Gary Hebert; wife Laurie; of West Brookfield MA; three grandchildren; Eric, Sarah, Jessica Hebert and three great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sisters Gloria Vanmoerkerque and Jean Giguere; both of Woonsocket RI, and his close friend and partner in crime Peter Blouin. Arthur was predeceased by his parents Leon and Lillian (Recore) Hebert; brothers Alfred, Joseph, George, Leon, and William Hebert as well as; sister Lillian Languirand. Arthur lived most of his life in Woonsocket. He was a cherished father and grandfather who brightened our lives with his warm sense of humor. Arthur had a gift for gab and he certainly utilized it throughout his life. His personality was larger than life and to know Arthur was to love him. He wouldn’t change who he was for anyone. He was always witty and funny maintaining his sense of humor throughout his brief illness. His outgoing and friendly nature endeared him to everyone he met, leaving a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know him. One of his proudest moments was sharing the fact that all four of his sons served in the military. He loved spending time with his friends who he fondly called “his boys” at many local establishments doing what he loved best. He will be greatly missed by all.
