Visitation will take place on Saturday, Ocotober 14, 2023 from 8:30 am until 10:30 am at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Il. The funeral will then proceed to St. Francis Borgia Church for 11:00 am Mass. Entombment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Christ the King Mausoleum.

Dear Sister to the late Ewen (Helen) Nicolson and Sadie (Ross) Morris; Loving aunt to many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews;Ret was born is Govan Scotland on December 11, 1934. After arriving by boat to Ellis Island, Ret moved to Toronto, Canada to be with her sister Sadie at 17. Met her Husband Packy shortly thereafter and spent 52 years together. After Patrick and Alexis were born they moved the family from Canada to the "States" ended up settling in Glenview. Ret’s greatest accomplishment in life was raising her family, She cared for & loved nothing more. Ret loved having family and extended families over for the Holidays. No child dare miss a holiday at Mom’s. Ret took great pride in her children and grandchildren, she always put them first before herself. Ret will be remembered for her enormous capacity for love, her devotion to her family, her loving group of friends, her quick wit and her optimistic outlook she carried throughout her life.
