Obituary of Senora "Se" Hudson Senora "Se" Hudson, 81, Marion, went to be with the Lord at 3:50 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, in her home. She was born in Leflore County, Mississippi, to the late Thomas Ollie and LeeOra (Sanders) Ollie, Sr., on January 12, 1958. Senora married her husband, Ezell Hudson, Sr., on January 28, 1959. They shared 50 years together before he preceded her in death on September 18, 2009. She retired from Dana Corp. after 27 years of service as a machine operator and was the first African-American female to retire from Dana. She dedicated her remaining time in service to her family and to her church at Rising Star Missionary Baptist, where she served as President of the Usher Board and helped prepare church meals. She was a true model of Christ and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children: Jackie (Lawrence) Bowlds, Marion; Ezell Hudson, Jr., Marion; Joyce (Timothy) Johns, TN; grandchildren: Shaunta, Amber, Anthony, Thomas, and Jessica; great-grandchildren, Jaslyn and Ja'Kyla; sister, Rebecca (Clyde) Richard, Marion; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her parents and loving husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Hope Hudson; brother, Thomas Ollie, Jr.; sister, Bessie Moore; special niece, Zenora; and two nephews, Stanford and Edd. The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, April 29, 2019, at Grace Missionary Baptist Church, 2409 S. Nebraska St., Marion, IN. Immediately following the time of visitation, a funeral service to celebrate Se's life will be held at 1 p.m. with Rev. Stanford Bolden and Rev. Jimmie Batchelor co-officiating.
