Scott Frederick Robbins, 57, of Hummelstown, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019, in the Spring Creek Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, Harrisburg, with his brother by his side. Born in Harrisburg on April 21, 1962, he was the son of the late Jon W. and Marsha L. Stroll Robbins. Fred was a devoted father, loving son and loyal brother. With a passion for aviation, he was an Air Craft Fueler for the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, New Hampshire. Fred was a 1980 graduate of Hershey High School, and had attended West Chester State University. He served with the Army National Guard as a Crew Chief for helicopter gunships. A hard worker, Fred helped his mother restore her family farm on Middletown Road. When he wasn't working, Fred enjoyed fishing. Fred is survived by one son, Ian Robbins of Houston, TX; one daughter, Alexandra Robbins of York; and one brother, Jon W. Robbins, Jr. of Hummelstown. A private inurnment will be in the Mt. Laurel Church of God Cemetery, Piketown, at a later date. Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, is handling the arrangements.
