Life Reflections Saundra Diane James, the beloved daughter of the late Ceaser and Catherine Mouzon James, was born July 17, 1963. She was the youngest of seven siblings, one of whom preceded her in death (Julius Ceaser) She was reared and nurtured in a loving Christian home and she received her baptism at an early age. Saundra spent her early years in Florence, SC, where she attended and graduated from Wilson Senior High School in 1981. She continued her education at Midland Technical College in Columbia, SC, majoring in Business Administration. Upon relocation to Columbia, SC, Saundra worshiped at the New International Dream Center under the leadership of Dr's Levern and Veronica Williams. While there, she served as a Sunday School Teacher and took great pride in serving as an Usher, the Hospitality and the Music Ministries. She loved seating and welcoming the people in the house of the Lord. Her infectious smile and warm heart were a true reflection of God's Love. Saundra lived a vibrant life. She enjoyed traveling and bonding with her family and friends. Her personality was that of a warm, loving, kind and witty. She had a great sense of humor and was always the life of the party. If you were feeling down, she had a way to cheer you up and make you laugh. She was truly a fashionista, her love and appreciation for clothing, cosmetics and styles led to her modeling in fashion show events held within various counties in South Carolina. Saundra was a young lady of strength, courage and character for whatever obstacles were set in her path. She had a strong faith in God which sustained her throughout her life; although her illness curtailed many of her activities, she was always blessed with the strength to go on. She "fought a good fight, She kept the faith." Saturday evening April 20, 2019, at 11:30 pm in the Palmetto Richland Medical Center, the peace of the Lord filled her being and the angels of the Lord ushered her spirit into the arms of her Heavenly Father. She leaves to mourn her passing, and cherish her memories: two sons, Demetrius Antwon and Isaac Hosea James; one brother, Louis E. (Beverly) Dozier; four sisters, Johnnie Mae (Ken) Flower, Gwendolyn James, Veronica (Levern) Williams, and Clara Denise Jonson; two aunts, Cora B. Wynn and Nancy Lee (Michael) Grant; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. To send flowers or a remembrance gift to the family of Saundra Diane James, please visit our .
