Josephine Annette (Lucario) Habernal, 69, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, departed this life peacefully in her home, surrounded by her family on June 30, 2002. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years Raymond R. Habernal, son: Rick Habernal and wife Susan, daughters: Kim Newbury and husband Dale, Sherry Harvey and husband Mike, grandchildren: Jason and Alicia Habernal, Matthew and Leslie Newbury, and Deidra Harvey, brother: Sam Lucario and wife Martha, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their deepest and most sincere appreciation to everyone that supported "Nana" Jo and her family, during her uphill battle with cancer. "Nana's" memory will forever be in our hearts and to everyone that knew her. Memorial contributions in her name are suggested to Hospice in the Pines, 116 South Raguet, Lufkin, TX 75904 or the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be from 7:00-9:00p.m, Tuesday, July 2, 2002 at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Freeway, Houston. Dolly Jo Barron, age 85, of Houston, Texas went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. She was born in Aransas Pass, Texas on April 3, 1938 and was the 2nd of six children. She was raised on a dairy farm on the north side of Houston and was a country girl at heart. Dolly graduated from Spring High School where she met her lifelong sweetheart Charles Allen Barron. Charles and Dolly married on June 15,1957. Dolly was a dedicated housewife and mother of eight children. She ran a tight ship and protected and loved her children fiercely. Dolly had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and have fun. At times she could be mischievous and enjoyed a good prank. As a young adult Dolly gave her life to the Lord Jesus Christ. She had a passion for the Lord and shared her faith with family and friends. She was a true prayer warrior and had a remarkable compassion for those that were down and out. She was preceded in death by parents, Walton and Leona Wilson; stepmother Emma Wilson; brothers, Harold Wilson, Benny Wilson, and Clyde Wilson; grandson, Jacob Barron; son-in-law, Ramon Jacoby. She is survived by husband, Charles Barron; children, Chuck (Cindy) Barron, Danny (Lan) Barron, Sherry (Andy) Fincher, Jamie (Johnifer) Barron, Harold Wayne(April) Barron, Bonnie Barron Mangum, Stephen Barron, and Jenny Jacoby; sister, Janice Wilson; brother, Jerry Wilson; grandchildren Joanna, Jana, Ryan, Hunter, Addison, Colin, Randy, Crystal, Sailor, Joshua, Jace, Caleb, Madi, Anna, Lilly, Ella, Lenae, Kayla, Ricky, Logan; great grandchildren Jasmine, Cash, Violet, Levi, Owen, Jack, Audrey, Molly, Isaac, Israel, Liam, Theo, Iñigo, Augustin, Johann, Declan, Vincent, Alysa; and a host of nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home on Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM. A Celebration of life will be held Monday, March 4, 2024 at 12:00PM at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home and a Graveside service immediately afterwards at Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery. Frank Jarvis Alford, 85, passed away on February 18, 2024. Frank was born, in Philadelphia, Mississippi on June 28, 1938, to the late Ethyl and Rube Alford. He spent his childhood in school and church, helping on the farm, fishing, and enjoyed the freedom of a country life in the woods and fields with his brothers and friends. As a young man, Frank was drafted into the US Army and served his country for 4 years and carried a deep pride and respect for the military for the rest of his life. In 1962, Frank married the love of his life, Brenda Holton of Louisville, Mississippi. They were married for 62 years and had two daughters, Rhonda and Andrea. Frank worked for Brown & Root his entire career, both on and offshore. He enjoyed fishing and spent many happy hours on various lakes and ponds. His favorite activity was spending time with his grandsons and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his daughter, Andrea Alford of Houston, Texas; brother, Harold Alford of Pearl, Mississippi; and sister Rachel Alford Thornton of Florence Mississippi. He is survived by his wife, Brenda of Houston, Texas; daughter, Rhonda Owens and son-in-law, Gary Owens of Crosby, Texas; grandsons Brandt Owens and wife Jamie Owens of Atascocita, Texas and Luke Owens and wife Katy Owens of Huffman, Texas; great grandchildren, Garrett Owens, Morgan Owens, and Jaxon Owens. Twin brother, Ben Alford, of Clinton, Mississippi, brother and sister-in-law Perry and Linda Alford of Batesville, Mississippi, and many nieces and nephews. Frank, known as Da to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, loved being a father, grandfather and great grandfather and found much joy in attending their school and sports activities from preschool through college. He loved his church and lived his faith. He will be missed beyond measure. “The Lord said unto him. Well done thou good and faithful servant……. enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.” Matthew 25:21 A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at 11:00 am at Dell Dale Avenue Baptist Church, at 402 Dell Dale Street, Channelview Texas. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.

Malcolm Doran Taylor, born January 9, 1955 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, died at the age of 69 on February 19, 2024, at his home in Houston Texas. Malcolm graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1977 with a degree in business. His career took him through many mergers and acquisitions in the oil and gas industry, starting with Gulf, through Texaco and then finally Chevron, from which he retired in 2012. Malcolm was a one-of-a-kind, humorous and adventurous soul and willing to try anything once. He participated in golf, bowling, white water rafting, zip-lining and many other “bucket list” type of activities. Malcolm took pride in his home, yard and garden, stemming from his early childhood farm life experience. His retirement years were spent traveling and exploring different countries and American destinations with a group of close friends. Malcolm is proceeded in his death by his father, James Delmont Taylor, mother, Carolyn Mullenix Taylor, and twin brother, Mark Darin Taylor. There are no known surviving family members. Malcolm’s dearest and long time friend, Linhard Hlanak Jr., provided and assisted with Malcolm’s care needs in his final months. Malcolm wished to be cremated and buried next to his twin brother Mark, in Oklahoma City. A small, intimate remembrance ceremony will be held at a future date. Those wishing to honor Malcolm are requested to make a donation or contribution to their favorite charity in Memory of Malcolm Taylor.
