Sarah Grell, 92, of Bear Valley, went home to be with the Lord Jesus, on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at her home. She was born on December 19, 1926 in Bear Valley the daughter Henry and Martha (Bloedow) Bloedow. On September 29, 1951 she was united in marriage to Hubert E. Grell at the Ash Creek Church. Sarah and Hubert farmed together in Bear Valley. She enjoyed bicycling, her pets, vegetable gardening, and traveling. Sarah was a Christian woman, who loved the Lord. Sarah is survived by her four children: Martin Grell of Bear Valley, Janet Runice of rural Lone Rock, Charley Grell of Bear Valley, Charlene (Bobby) Jones of rural Lone Rock; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; special niece Mary Jane Durst of Hillpoint; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Sarah was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Martha, husband Hubert, grandson Kevin Grell, and 7 brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 2:30 PM at the Pratt Memorial Chapel, with Pastor David Fretz officiating. Burial will follow in the Bear Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Pratt Memorial Chapel from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at 2:30 PM.
