Sarah Margaret Perkins Allen, 80, of Lee County, died Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Lee County Healthcare. Graveside funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 16 at Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Thomas Snead will officiate. Born October 12, 1938 in Mitchell County, Ms. Allen was the daughter of the late Bennie Harvel Perkins and Sarah Myrtice Holton Perkins. She retired from Coats and Clark in Albany and also worked for Teleperformance of Albany. Ms. Allen was a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church. Survivors include two sisters, Dorothea "Dot" Stripling (Auburn) of Moultrie and Hazel Herron of Middleburg, FL; uncle, Melvin Perkins (Mary) of Camilla; numerous nieces and nephews.
