Mrs. Joyce Lowe Franco passed away February 23, 2024 at her home. She was 60 years old and will be deeply missed.Joyce was born in Aurora, Illinois on July 15, 1963 and moved with her family to Clarksdale, Mississippi in 1966. She attended St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. She was the youngest of two children to Lonnie and Dolores Lowe.She was preceded in death by her parents.She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Gary Franco of Miramar Beach, Florida, one brother, Bud (Jennifer) Lowe of Columbus, Mississippi and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.She has been a faithful Catholic for 60 years. Joyce attended St. Elizabeth Catholic school and then Lee Academy where she was a member of National Honor Society. Joyce was selected Hall of Fame for her academic achievements and extracurricular accomplishments. Joyse graduated with honors in 1981.Joyce graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science in Biology Degree in 1984. She was a member of RhoLambda, and an active member of Delta Gamma Sorority and Beta Theta Pi little sister. She attended UMC Nursing School in Jackson where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Aside from being a wonderful wife, nurse and friend. Joyce also loved spending time rescuing animals and spending time at the beach with family and friends.A time of visitation will be held from 9:30-11:00 AM, with a Catholic Mass following, Saturday, March 16, 2024 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church; 5971 Lakeland Drive, Flowood, Mississippi 39232.Memorial Services will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church.In lieu of flowers the family request that donation be made to Mississippi Animal Rescue League at 5221 Greenway Drive Exd, Jackson, Mississippi 39204 or St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital Burial will be held at in Columbus, Mississippi. Robert "Bobby" Ros, 82, of Miramar, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. Bob was born in New York on June 15, 1941. He graduated from James Monroe High School and shortly thereafter he joined the United States Air Force. Bob was married to Dolly Ros on June 10, 1962; they were married 61 years. Bob worked as an Aircraft Technician for Air Jamaica for 15 plus years. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and his grandchildren. Bob is survived by his wife Dolly, his three children Robert, David and Mia, his grandchildren Olivia, Robert, David, Daniel, Michael, Lourdes and Ramon, his sister Rafaela Phelan, his niece Celeste, and other family and friends. Bob is preceded in death by his parents Roberto R. Ros and Ana Luisa Bonetta, his granddaughter Krysten, and his sister Ann Bonilla. Family, friends, and others whose lives Bob touched are invited to the Fred Hunter Funeral Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, from 5 p.m.- 9 p.m. on Monday, February 26, 2024, to reminisce, grieve, support each other and, of course, just chat.
