Sandra Williams Obituary

Sandra Joanne Williams passed away April 20, 2023, in Klamath Falls, Oregon. She was born in Klamath Falls January 10, 1946, to Eugene Barrett and Viola (Van Cleave) Barrett. Sandra attended Henley Schools, graduating from Henley High School in 1966. Her personality is described as generous, a helper, and a collector. Her generosity and helpfulness are illustrated by her willingness to meet the needs of others. She fostered 48 children, and if one and only one thing could be said about her, it was that she could never simply ignore someone in need, even someone who had wronged her in the past. She would do anything she could to help others. Sandra loved everything "Disney". She was able to visit Disneyland in 2005, and again in 2015. She also took a "road trip" across America in 1998. Sandra's interests included camping, arrowhead hunting, and hiking, and in her heyday could successfully throw a boomerang. She enjoyed gathering berries ad Morel mushrooms. She had loose recipes tucked away into drawers and books all over her house. Sandra took the greatest pride in being able to pay off her house. She considered this one of her greatest life achievements. Sandra is survived by two daughters, three sisters, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and countless friends. Family and friends will come together in unity to celebrate Sandra's life on Tuesday, May 16, at 10:00am at O'Hair-Wards Funeral Chapel, 515 Pine St. , Klamath Falls, Oregon.
