Sandra "Sandy" (Stiltner) Fox, 63, of Columbus, OH passed away the evening of May 4, 2023 following a fierce battle with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer. Her final moments were spent peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, while her favorite music played in the background. Sandy was born in Pike, KY, on September 3, 1959, and lived in West Virginia before her family later settled in Columbus, OH. She began her journey with the love of her life, November 27, 1974, at the young age of 15. She was a homemaker the majority of her adult life and took great pride in caring for her family. She made a house a home for her family and all who visited. Never a day passed that she didn't provide a safe loving environment or a home cooked meal to anyone that walked through her door. Family, friends, or the neighborhood kids, no one was allowed to leave her home unfulfilled. Sandy's imagination, selflessness, and love created everlasting memories for her loved ones. She loved cooking, music, nature, sunrises, sunsets, animals, and most of all, spending time with her family. Sandy would often say, her best accomplishment in life was her two children; she was a very proud mother. Known for her feisty personality, warrior-like spirit, kind heart, contagious laugh, and ability to unite people through her cooking, Sandy will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Sandy's family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others and the laughs she provided in life, not the sadness of her passing. Remember, life is beautiful but short, so it should be lived to the fullest. Sandy is survived by her loving devoted spouse of 48 years Mark Fox Sr. , adoring children; Christy (Matthew, Eric, Mhing) Tschirner, Mark Fox Jr. , her sister-in-law Roxanne Fox, brother-in-law's; Bradly Fox, Matthew (Stephanie) Fox, and Brian Fox, sister Sharon (James) Walraven, and an abundance of nieces and nephews. Sandy is preceded in death by her parents Donald Gene and Esther (Blankenship) Stiltner, brother's Donald "Don" G. Stiltner Jr. and John C. Stiltner, sister Tamya Davidson, father-in-law Donald "Don" Fox, mother-in-law Patricia "Pat" Cattell, sister-in-law's; Rita Fox, Jenny Fox, Marjorie "Sissy" Fox, brother-in-law Christopher "Duck" Fox, daughter-in-law Katie "Bug" Fox, niece Erica "Smokey" Fox, and nephew Justin Fox. The family would like to express their gratitude to family and friends for their love and support during this difficult time. In honor of Sandy's wishes she will be cremated and no funeral service will be held. The family will host a celebration of life gathering in the coming weeks, information to be relayed at a later date.
