Mr Sammie Lewis Taylor was born to the late Nathaniel Taylor, Sr and Catherine Davenport Taylor on June 11, 1950 in Newberry County, South Carolina He previously worked in the Mill as a Factory Worker At an early age, Mr Taylor joined Mt Moriah AME Church in Prosperity, South Carolina He enjoyed sports, especially Baseball, where he played locally Sammie entered into eternal rest at Lexington Medical Center in Columbia, South Carolina at the age of seventy-three He leaves to cherish his significant other, Carolyn Bishop Rhodes; his sons, Detrick Bishop, Reggie Taylor, Cepheus Glenn, Tevarres Taylor, all of Newberry, South Carolina, Lewis Taylor of North Carolina; his daughters, Vetrick (Tim) Boulware, Mary Glenn, both of Newberry, South Carolina, Wanda (Ken) Clark of Chapin, South Carolina, Vanessa Ellis of Aiken, South Carolina; his sister, Linda (Otis) Langford of Newberry, South Carolina, his brothers, Nathaniel (Mary) Taylor, Jr , David (Carolyn) Taylor, George (Rose Mary) Taylor, all of Newberry, South Carolina, Sammie Taylor of Greenwood, South Carolina, Jerry (Debbie) Taylor of Maryland; Teshirra (Zach) Sims reared in the home, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends The family is at the home of 2318 Johnstone St , Newberry, South Carolina To to the family or in memory of Sammie Lewis Taylor, please

Marjorie Faye Henderson, known as Faye, 84, of Clinton, SC, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2023. She was born to the late Author Edward Ward and Nora Summey Ward. Faye's life was a testament to love, kindness, and selflessness, leaving an indelible mark on those who were fortunate enough to know her. Faye had a passion for collecting, finding joy in assembling an impressive assortment of quarters, blue glass, jugs, and vases. Her love for literature was evident in her avid reading, a pastime she cherished throughout her life. Known for her unwavering kindness, helpfulness, and boundless generosity, Faye touched the lives of many. Her compassion extended beyond her immediate circle, as she dedicated her time to volunteering at hospice, demonstrating a profound care for others that went unmatched. Surviving Faye is the love of her life for 38 years, Eusebio Bustamante, with whom she shared a deep and enduring connection. She leaves behind sons Ronald Henderson and Donald Henderson, granddaughter, Marie Guangenti, and great-grandchildren Carl Owen Birchard, Aura Hutchinson, Abigail Guangenti, Anthony Guangenti, Andrea Henderson, and Lukas Eli Knopf. Faye's memory will also be cherished by her niece, Joy Reynolds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Carl Edward Henderson, granddaughter, Sonya Birchird, and eleven brothers and sisters. A memorial service to celebrate Faye's life will be held at 12:00 PM on December 9, 2023, at 302 Musgrove Street, Clinton, SC 29325.
