Sam Renfrow, age 60, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2023, at Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland, MS. Family to hold a Memorial Services at a later date. Sam was born on October 8, 1962, to Walter Lloyd Renfrow and Mary Nell Wadsworth. Sam was preceded in death by his parents Walter Lloyd Renfrow and Mary Nell Medina; his brothers - in – law, Charles Upchurch and Michael Earrell and his brother, Walter Graves Renfrow. He is survived by his daughter, Natasha Renfrow; sisters, and brothers, Annett Caroll, Stacey Pullins (Steve), Jamie Jeffrey (Rusty), Nicki Meadows (Glen), Patrick Medina (Krissy), Ephriam Medina, Brandon Renfrow (Carrie), Jeremey Renfrow (Tiffany) and Walter George Renfrow.

Earl (Skip) Bailey, Jr. , age 68, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at his home in Lake, MS. His visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, from 9:30 AM until 11:15 AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. His service will take place at 11:30 AM in our Funeral Home Chapel. His interment will follow at Hopewell Baptist Cemetery in Lake, MS. Bro. Doyle Boyles will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services. Skip was born on April 12, 1955, in Dallas, TX to Earl Bailey, Sr. and Doris Cox Bailey. He grew up in the Duck Hill and Winona area of Montgomery County, MS. Skip grew up farming. At the age of fourteen he lost his right arm in a corn cutter. This never stopped him from doing anything he wanted to do. He drove 18- wheeler cattle trucks, hauled lumber and logs. Skip met Dinah his wife of twenty-seven years in 1995. He moved to the Homewood Community and became an active member at Homewood Baptist Church. He served as a greater for many years until his health failed. He was a member of Homewood Fire Department for twenty-four years where he lived his passion for serving and helping others. Ship was preceded in death by his parents Earl Bailey, Sr. and Doris Cox Bailey. His son E. B. Bailey, his sister Debra Stephens. He survived by his wife Dinah Bailey, daughter, Tammy McGee, special niece, Leigh Lowery, sister, Susan Bell (Wesley) of Amory, MS, Sherry Bailey of New Berry, South Carolina, David Bailey (Angela) of Winona, MS and a host of nieces and nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be Homewood Volunteer Fire Department. The Family would like to offer special thanks to Accent Care Hospice for their excellent service.Show more

James Huffman Guyse, age 89, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at his residence in Morton, MS. His visitation will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 12:00 PM until 1:15 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. His services will take place in our Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 PM. His burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS. Rev. Spencer Sullivan and Rev. Guy Hughes will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services. James was on July 7, 1934, in Scott County, MS to William A. Guyse and Mamie Irene Huffman. He lived most of his life in Scott County, MS and was a member of Pelahatchie Baptist Church in Pelahatchie, MS. James was a 1952 graduate of Forest High School and obtained his B. S. Degree at Mississippi State where he played in the Band and later graduated from Jackson School of Law. After graduation he enlisted in the U. S Army for two years and the National Guard fof two years. Upon returning home he was an insurance adjuster for several companies, then worked at the V. A. as a Claims Adjuster and then served as a Judge with the USDA until retirement. In his later years he enjoyed his cows, horses, dogs, cats and he really enjoyed traveling. James is preceded in death by his parents, William A. and Irene Guyse; his sister, Doris Jean Leahey and his brother, William A. Guyse, Jr. He is survived by his wife of sixty-seven years, Carolyn Guyse of Morton, MS; his two daughters, Jayne Guyse (Steve Bayer) of Salt Lake City, UT and Gayle Statham (Mark) of Huntsville, AL; his brother, Robert Guyse (Sue) of Poplarville, MS; two grandchildren, Matt Statham (Tammy) and Lara Statham and one great grandchild, Amelia "Emma" Statham. Richard was born to Nathanial Pittman and Dessie McCollum on December 23, 1939, in Morton, MS. He lived most of his life in Morton, MS. Richard was a member of Christian Triumph M. B. Church in Morton, MS. He loved to play checkers, shoot pool and watch westerns. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Nathanial and Dessie Pittman and his son, Graylon S. Pittman. He is survived by his seven children, Bobbie Townsend of Decatur, MS, Shelia Mann of Terry, MS, Dessie Lloyd (Rickie) of Ludlow, MS, Sterling Carey Pittman of Gonzales, LA, Randy Pittmon of Jackson, MS, Ricky C. Pittman (Bernette) of Ludlow, MS and Reginald Pittman of Las Vegas, NV; his four sisters, Ruth Taylor of Jackson, MS, Sarah Pearson of San Jose, CA, Mary Johnson of Milwaukee, WI and Lousie Carey of Milwaukee, WI; one brother, Fred Pittmon of Las Vegas, NV and an number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Burial will follow at Morton Memorial Gardens in Morton, MS. Bro. Tommy Miles and Bro. Tal Vardaman will officiate the service. Miss Juanita was born on December 22, 1924. She was a woman who loved God and gave her life to him, being a dedicated church member throughout her life. Miss Juanita loved bringing joy to all who knew her. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, spending time with her family, reading her Bible and worshipping God. She also loved spending time with her family at Mississippi Care Center of Morton, who took very good care of her, for the past few years. She was preceded in death by her parents John W. and Ima J. "Wright "Clark; her sisters, Bonnie Gardner and Mary Lewis; brothers, Aubrey Clark, Joe Clark, Ted Clark and James Clark; her daughter, Linda Roberts; her husband, C. L. Gould, and her previous husband, Steve McNaughton. She is survived by her son, James L. McNaughton (Barbara) of Quantico, MD; grandson, Mick Roberts (Angela) of Quantico, MD; great-grandchildren, Ethan Roberts and Jillian Roberts; and a great number of nieces and nephews from her deceased siblings. Swayzie was the happiest baby, always loved to be sang to and was never in a bad mood. Her Favorite song was Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
