"Ollie Regan Green, beloved father, husband, and friend, passed away on December 28, 2023. The family will host a celebration of life and inurnment in the Greenleaf Cemetery at 1:00PM on Saturday, January 6, 2024. Arrangements are under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home in Early. Regan Green was born in Lubbock on April 22, 1953, to Laverne McClendon and Ollie D Green. Regan was a hell raiser in his youth riding bulls, broncs, and motorcycles at a very young age. He spent many many years raising and riding horses and teaching others to do the same. Regan was a lifelong welder for Santa Fe Railway where he faithfully retired. He has made many lifelong friends through his days as a welder. No truer description of a man best describes Regan as having a servant\u0027s heart. He gave his entire life giving to others and taking care of others. He loved so many and was loved by so many. Regan loved fishing and shooting guns and was a huge collector of guns. He was his happiest watching his grandkids play sports. He always attended and supported them throughout their lives. Regan is survived by his daughters, Robin Barron and husband Jeff, and Shelly Moffatt and Chris Nowell; sister Belinda Adams; four grandchildren, Darian Smith, Layne Wiedl, Kohl Wiedl, and Lawson Barron; one great-grandson, Stetson Ashworth; nephews Johnny Adams and wife Tina, Michael Green, Tim Choat; nieces, Kim Snyder and Natasha Adams; as well as many other nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betsy Norwood Green; mother, Laverne Burger; father, Ollie D. Green; brothers, Kevin and Michael Green; infant son, Cody Allen Green; and granddaughter, Nadalee Rosanne Smith. Regan requested that his pallbearers be: Jeff Barron, Lawson Barron, Tim Choat, Johnny Adams, Dusty Gosnell, Jayden Choat, and Corben Gosnell and honorary pallbearers be: Layne Wiedl, Kohl Wiedl, Joe Reagan, Cotton Wood, and Braxton Choat."

Janie was born in Rochester, Haskell County, Texas to Lee \u0026amp; Jewel Ree Cumba on June 20, 1940. Janie went to school at Rising Star, Cross Plains and graduated from Scranton High School in Scranton, Texas. She met Earnest Adair Elam in 1956 and they were married September 12, 1958. Adair and Janie were blessed with over 51 years of marriage and three children. She lived in Olton, Abilene, Cross Plains and when she sold the ranch in 2014, she moved to Early and attended the Salt Creek Baptist Church. Janie worked at Timex, Ilene\u0027s and the County Clerks office in Abilene, Texas, but her favorite job was homemaker, taking care of Adair and the children. Janie is survived by daughters, Darla and Husband Terry Williams of Rockwall, Texas; Sharla and husband Randall Sanders of Abilene, Texas; son, Brian Adair Elam of Abilene, Texas; sister, Patsy Beene of Early; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends. "Our rock and our hero left this world to live with our Savior on September 6, 2023, at the age of 75. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date. Bobby Gene Hopper was born to Bert and Clara Stegemollar Hopper on October 26, 1947. He was the youngest of the family next to two older sisters, Katheline Hopper Bessent and Joeann Hopper Kunkel Gault. Bobby grew up in Priddy, Texas where he graduated in 1965. He met the love of his life, Sherry Hughes Hopper when he was just 19 years old and she was 15 years old. The two married in Early, Texas on June 7, 1969 and they embarked on a lifetime of love and happiness of 54 years. Bobby and Sherry started a family and raised two daughters together, Shauna Hopper Portillo and Hilary Hopper Tyler, both of Early. Bobby was a husband, father and grandfather. He worked for GTE the majority of his adult life as a lineman and later for Verizon as a general maintenance technician until retirement. Bobby enjoyed his retirement and there was not anything that he couldn\u0027t fix! He enjoyed the wildlife on his home place and enjoyed the company of his three dogs. Most of all, he enjoyed being \u0026quot;Poppy\u0026quot; to his 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Bobby will be loved and missed for a lifetime. He will never be out of our hearts or off of our minds. May God keep him and comfort him until we all meet again. Kenneth was born January 23, 1960 in Brownwood, Texas to Harold Payne \u0026quot;H. P. \u0026quot; \u0026amp; Clydale Hampton. Raised in Early, he graduated from Early High school in 1978. Kenneth married Ernestine on December 24, 1986 and created a bond together that lasted over 37 years and blessed them with 3 children. Kenneth worked for Brown County Precinct 3 as a foreman for 20 years but his true love in working was raising cattle and goats. He continued to be a full-time rancher after retirement and always worked hard for his family. Kenneth was a devoted husband, father and friend.
