Margaret A. “Peggy” Corbett, age 81, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2024 at The Springs of Monarch Landing in Naperville, IL. She was born on September 14, 1942 in Stoughton, WI.Peggy is survived by her loving children, Cindy (Rich) Froman, Todd Branham, and Andrew (Mary) Corbett; her cherished grandchildren Angie, Kristi, and Tyler Froman, James and Austin Branham, and Abby and Emma Corbett; her dear siblings-in-law, Herbert (Rose) Corbett, Jr., Jane Parrish, Ellen (Wayne) Orr, and Allen (Linda) Corbett; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James R. Branham and her second husband, Joseph S. Corbett; her infant son, James Branham; her parents, William K. and Anna F. Edelman, and her brother, William J. Edelman.Peggy lived in Rockford, IL and the surrounding community for most of her life and spent 15 years as a resident of Simpsonville, SC after her retirement. She was a graduate of Rockford College and earned her master’s degree in education from National College of Education. Peggy dedicated her career to education, working for the Harlem Consolidated School District in Machesney Park, IL for 30 years. She taught 4th and 5th grade at Olson Park Elementary School and North Park Elementary School and 7th grade English at Harlem Middle School. In her retirement years in South Carolina, she was guardian ad litem for several children and volunteered to support adult literacy.Peggy loved her family deeply. She treasured her role as “Grammy” and delighted in spending time with her grandchildren. She relished many vacations at the beach with her extended family. Peggy will be deeply missed by her family and friends.For those who would like to leave a lasting tribute to the life of Margaret A. She was born on June 1, 1933, in Akron, Ohio.Joyce was a devoted wife to her husband of 38 years, Robert M. Pickering; loving mother of Karen Redell and Bob Pickering; and a dear grandmother of Megan Redell and Kendall Pickering. She is survived by Karen and Megan Redell. Joyce grew up in Akron, Ohio and attended North High School where she dated her husband, Robert, prior to her graduation in January 1951. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Akron University in 1956. On April 12, 1958 Joyce married Robert at North Hill Methodist Church. Joyce lived life to the fullest every day. She was devoted to her family. She enjoyed sports, either as a participant, cheerleader in high school, or avid fan. Later in life, she enjoyed traveling. Joyce was spirited, adventurous, and fun-loving. She felt "laughter is the vitality of life" and laughed often. Joyce will be loved always and missed deeply.A visitation will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, with a Service at 1:30 PM, at Hennessy Bagnoli Moore Funeral Home, 936 North Main Street, Akron, OH 44310. Born on October 22, 1973, in LaGrange, Illinois, Jenna was a loving wife to Ray Fernandez, a devoted mother to Moriah and Jio Fernandez, a caring daughter to Jim and Nancy Meyer, a cherished sister to Sue (Marc) Pusateri and Kristen (Charles) Gasser, and a beloved sister-in-law to Roy (Julie) Fernandez, Maria (Patrick) Wirth and Jeff Fernandez, and a loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Meyer. Jenna was a Montessori Teacher. Eventually home-schooling her children as a Stay At Home mom, she invested her life to impart faith, hope and love into her children. She was known for her thoughtful kindness, living simply so she could give more generously to those in need of God's love. Jenna's hobbies included playing the keyboard, writing songs, reading, and going for walks. The many worship songs she composed inspired generations to worship Jesus with whole-hearted devotion. The ceremony to honor Jenna's life will be held at Living Water Community Church, 190 Lily Cache Lane, Bolingbrook, Illinois on Friday, March 9, 2024.
