Obituary of Ruth Chriscoe Ruth Lenora Suggs Chriscoe, age 71, of Troy died Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Autumn Care Nursing & Rehabilitation, Biscoe. Mrs. Chriscoe was born May 18, 1947 in Montgomery County, the daughter of the late Lacy and Cleo Suggs. She was a sewer at Nantucket Hosiery for 27 years before retiring. She grew up in Troy and enjoyed listening to country music. She loved her family and her cats. She is survived by her one niece, Lea Ann Bass and husband Allen of Troy, NC; nephews, Leslie Suggs and wife Eva of Troy, NC and Billy Cagle and wife Carol of Troy, NC; special friend, Kermit Hoover of Troy, NC. She was predeceased by her husband, Vern "Bo" Chriscoe and sister Ruby Cagle. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Laurel Hill Baptist Church, 1569 Troy Candor Rd., Troy, NC at 2:00 pm, with the Rev. Rodney Holmes officiating.
