Ann Amato of Stanhope, NJ passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was 97 years old. Ann was born on October 27, 1926 in Stanhope, NJ to the late Michael Rencis and the late Mary Rencis (Gospodarec). She was a longtime resident of Stanhope, NJ where she resided for her entire life. Ann was a Homemaker and a beautician. She enjoyed painting, crafts, sewing, baking, bingo and the slot machines. Ann loved making her famous apple pies during the holidays for her loving family. Most importantly, Ann was a wife, mother, grandmother and a great grandmother who dedicated her life to making her family happy and will greatly be missed by all. Ann is predeceased by her husband Ralph in 2016. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Marie, her son, Ralph & his wife, Marlene, her cherished grandchildren, Ryan Amato and Danielle Amato Lyden and her husband Jonathan and her great granddaughters Kiera and Brianna whom she adored. She is also pre-deceased by her siblings Joseph, James and Helen. Ann's Life Celebration will include a visitation on Wednesday, February 14 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. There will be a Prayer Service on Thursday, February 15 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Stanhope Union Cemetery in Mt. Olive Twp., NJ. Michael A. “Big Mike” Lebetz, 66, of Stanhope, New Jersey, formerly of Markle passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 30, 2023. He was a son of the late George and Georgina Lebetz. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers George Lebetz, Jr. and Randy Lebetz. Mike was a 1975 graduate of Kiski Area High School. He was a supervisor of VDM Metals in New Jersey, where he worked for 48 years. He enjoyed his Pittsburgh Sports Teams, a number of his TV shows and socializing at “The Office.” He is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years Kathy Lebetz of Stanhope, NJ; his children Randi (John) Shirey of Avonmore, Michael (Jamie) Lebetz of Cannonsburg, Kassandra Lebetz of New Kensington, Sarah Lebetz of Stanhope, NJ, Nora (Steve) Phillips of Delmont and Lucas Sudduth of South Park; Grandfather of Grace Shirey, Andrew Baldi, Aundrea Sudduth, Jack Sudduth, Easton Phillips, John Shirey, Maison Shirey, and Lucas Shirey; Great Grandfather of Elijah Sudduth; Sister of Karen Blanciak of Gilpin Twp. George Joseph Morgan, a beloved resident of Stanhope, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023, at the age of 92, at St. Clare's Hospital in Dover, New Jersey. Born in Hawley , Pennsylvania, to the late George and Kathryn Morgan, George spent his formative years in Hawley, PA, and Dover, NJ, before establishing his home in Stanhope in 1955. A proud veteran, he served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War, embodying dedication and patriotism throughout his life. George dedicated over 32 years of hard work to the Mennen Company in Morristown, where he contributed significantly before embracing a well-deserved retirement. George was a proud member of the Stanhope American Legion, exemplifying his commitment to service and camaraderie. His passion for sports, particularly his unwavering loyalty to the Cleveland Indians/Guardians Baseball team for an impressive 75 years, showcased his enduring spirit and love for the game. He was predeceased by his wife Carole Morgan in 1992. Left to cherish his memory are his three children: Donna Van Duyne (John), Ken Morgan (Cindy), and Charlie Morgan (Tracy); six grandchildren: Lyndsay Derendal (Pete), Melissa Estwin (Joe), Johnathan Van Duyne (Ashley), Michael Van Duyne, Tiffany Catalano, and Kenny Morgan; along with nine great-grandchildren. Joseph Lee Dowden of Stanhope, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Morris View Care Center surrounded by his loving family. He was 66 years old. Joseph was born on September 28, 1956 in Aix-en-Provence, France to the late Joseph Lee and the late Ellin L. (Sorensen) Dowden. Mr. Dowden was a chemical engineer at the US Army's Picatinny Arsenal for 40 years and continued to work during his retirement. Joseph enjoyed hiking, reading, painting, doing yardwork and listening to music but most importantly, he cherished his time with his loving family and friends. Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Lillian C. (Termini) Dowden, his devoted children, Julie A. Dowden, Joseph C. Dowden and wife Patricia M. Dowden and Robert A. Dowden and wife Stevie L. Dowden and his cherished grandchildren, Riley M. Dowden and Sophia R. Dowden. Rosa B. Paich of Stanhope, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Merry Heart Health Care Center in Roxbury Twp. , surrounded by her loving family. She was 98 years old. Rosa was born on December 29, 1924 in Switzerland to the late Friederich and the late Wilmelmina Fritz Bruggman. Rosa was born and raised in Switzerland and also lived in London, England. She then immigrated to the United States in 1946 on the Queen Mary. Mrs. Paich co-owned and operated Salon 10 Beauty Care in Succasunna for many years before retiring. Rosa was an avid artist and enjoyed gardening and painting but most importantly she cherished her time with her family and friends. Rosa is survived by loving son, Gary J. Paich and his wife, Debra, her cherished grandchildren, Lauren Toro and Kristina Tuttle and her cherished great-grandchildren; Connor Toro, Johnathan Tuttle and Hailey Tuttle. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 58 years, John M. Paich in 2003. Rosa's Life Celebration Services will include a Memorial Service to be announced by the family at a later date. Walter Edward Ingman, Jr. , 67, of Stanhope, NJ, passed away on Saturday February 18, 2023 at his home. Born in Jersey City, NJ on August 8, 1955 to the late Walter, Sr. and Lucy (Gargiulo) Ingman, he moved to Stanhope over 30 years ago. Walter earned a Bachelor's Degree from William Paterson University and was retired from his position as an Operations Manager for Waste Management in Kearny after 30+ years of faithful employment. In high school, Walter participated in cross country, track and baseball. He was also a boating enthusiast and enjoyed cycling and traveling. Walter was a technology "guru", a food truck "foodie", a devoted Dallas Cowboys and NY Mets fan and was the recipient of the "ABC- 11 in a Row" bowling award. He was an active volunteer for Pet Adoption League (PAL) and supporter of United War Vets Council. Survivors include his significant other, Kim Cowing, spouse (separated) Diane Ingman, children Melissa Palma (Julio), Walter A. Ingman (Gabriela) and Megan Sciara (Peter), grandchildren Janissa Palma, Jayden Palma and Walter X. Ingman with "Baby" Sciara and "Baby" Ingman on the way, brother Richard E. Ingman (Patricia), nieces and nephews Ryan Ingman, Alison Petraglia (Vincent), Cherise Boutin, Dillan Boutin (Sharmani), grandniece and grandnephew Cecilia and Angelo Petraglia. Walter's Life Celebration will include a memorial visitation on Saturday February 25, 2023 from 1:00PM to 5:00PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ.
