Ruby Williams Obituary

Ruby Katherine Williams, age 88, of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023 at Alive Hospice in Nashville. She was born May 4, 1934 in Dickson County, to the late William Howard and Lillie Mae Pate Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Williams. Ruby is survived by her daughters, Linda Sue Synder and Jeri (John) Allensworth; a brother, Bobby Jones; sisters Wanda Jones and Ann Nelson; grandchildren, Terri Legate, Billie (Austin) Billing, Jerrell Austin, John (Mary Michael) Allensworth, Jr. , Emily Allensworth Clouser and seven great-grandchildren. Ruby was a member of Scotts Chapel Freewill Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in her gospel group and also loved being with her family. A private graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 12 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Brother David Mackens officiating.
