Ruby Snyder Obituary

Ruby P. Snyder, 88, of Laconia, Indiana, died Friday, April 21, 2023, at her home near Laconia. She was born September 4, 1934, in Corydon, Indiana, to the late Ira Wayne and Date Sophie Crecelius Mauck. She owned and operated Snyders Texaco near Laconia with her husband, Cuba, for many years, and loved quilting, coloring books and playing games. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cuba Snyder; and her brothers, Albert, Alvy, Charlie and Wayne Mauck. Survivors include her son, Mark Snyder (Ava) of Laconia; her grandchildren, Michael Snyder (Kristy) and Jamie Joseph (Rabi); and her great grandchildren, Grace and Gabriel Joseph. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p. m. Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Pastor Catherine Turcotte will officiate. Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Central, Indiana. Visitation will be after 10:00 a. m. Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Michael Snyder, Rabi Joseph, Terry Bartle, Shawn Cahoe, Marty Snyder, William Crosier and Wesley Crosier.
