Memorial service for Rosemary Schmitt, age 70 of Sulphur Springs, Texas will be held at 10:00 A. M. on Friday, September 15, 2023 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Barbara Brackett officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Mrs. Schmitt passed away on September 10, 2023 at her residence. Rosemary was born on January 3, 1953 in Columbia, MO to James Russell and Louise Laura (Hane) Adams. She graduated from Highman High School and then graduated from Stevens College in Columbia. Rosemary married Lloyd John Schmitt on October 19, 2019. She was employed by A&G Commercial Trucking for over 28 years. She begun working for the company in Missouri and was transferred as a Terminal Manager to the new Sulphur Springs, Texas office in 2009. Rosemary was passionate about her job and took great pride in her work. She was a devoted Christian and lived that out in her life. Rosemary and her husband, Lloyd, enjoyed watching Nascar racing and traveled to many of the events. She loved crocheting Afghan blankets for family and friends. They were all warmed with sweet memories by them. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd; brothers, Jimmy Adams and wife, Pam, Jack Adams and wife, Adriana; sisters-in-law, Rita Juhl, Barbara Brackett and husband, Cliff, Judy Graham and husband, David, and Ruby Fugate. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents and siters, Patti Ann Adams and Betty Danley.

Memorial Service for Alan Jay Tiemeyer, age 73, of Sulphur Springs, TX will be conducted at 2:00 p. m. , Saturday, December 2, 2023 at The Way Bible Church with Dr. Joel Tiemeyer officiating and Pastor Jeff Tiemeyer assisting. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 p. m. at The Way Bible Chuch. Alan passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler, TX. He was born on October 2, 1950 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the son of Alfred and Wilma Tiemeyer. Alan married Bonnie Feenstra on November 16, 1973 in Byron Center, Michigan. He worked as a dairy waste management tech for U. S. Farm Systems before he retired. He was one of the founding and long time members of The Way Bible Church and he served in The Air National Guard. One of his favorite past times was having coffee and quiet time for Bible study at Burtons and the Metro Diner. Alan loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. In addition to his wife Bonnie he is survived by his mother Wilma Tiemeyer, three sons, Jeff Tiemeyer (Amy), Brian Tiemeyer (Hollie), and Joel Tiemeyer (Sheri), one daughter Tara Jackson (Luke), two brothers Carl Tiemeyer and R. John Tiemeyer, one sister La Raine Salmon, one sister-in-law Clara Feenstra, grandchildren Zach Tiemeyer, Katie Tiemeyer, Joshua Tiemeyer, Elise Tiemeyer, Anna Tiemeyer, Kylie Jackson, Alison Jackson, Caleb Tiemeyer, and Aaron Tiemeyer, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Alfred Tiemeyer, sister Rachel Ruth Leigh, and grandson Judah Tiemeyer. Funeral Service for Rickey Lynn Spivey, age 64 of Sulphur Springs, TX will be conducted at 11:00 a. m. , Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Morning Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor H. B. Nash, Sr. officiating and Eulogist Pastor Willis Taylor. Interment will follow at Mel Haven Cemetery. Rickey was born on October 22, 1959 to the parentage of Jeff Spivey, Sr. and Bobbie A. Roland. He attended school in the Sulphur Springs School District. Rickey accepted Christ at an early age and later united with Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Rickey was a truck driver and a tile mason by trade. He leaves to mourn his passing: his devoted wife Jacquelin Kennedy Spivey; daughters born during his marriage to Grannetta Kaye Spivey; Grannetta (CoCoa) and Sam of Sulphur Springs; Emma Lee of Bedford, TX, Cierra of Garland, TX, Jessica of Tyler, TX and step daughter Larita Brown of Pittsburg, TX; loving mother Bobbie A.
