Rosemarie I Ertl Knopf of Collings Lakes, NJ passed away peacefully with loving family by her side late Wednesday evening, October 4, 2023, at Jefferson Hospital in Washington Twp, NJ She was born June 3, 1937 in pre-war Germany and was 86 years young Following the passing of her beloved husband, Manfred, in 2019, she lived independently in their long-time home of 50 years in Collings Lakes until suffering complications from her battle with cancer "Rosie" or "Oma" moved from Germany to the US via Canada in the mid-1960's, and was known for her contagious positive attitude and spirit She befriended almost anyone she met, even in her final days Always smiling and undeniably modest, she loved to help others, and had a way of making people smile with her quick wit and sense of humor Her cute, distinct German accent mesmerized everyone she talked to, always leading to great conversations Known as "Queen of the Chicken Dance," she never missed a chance to dance at any celebration, especially to her favorites Rod Stewart and Pitbull! She enjoyed nature and feeding her wild pet chipmunk, "Alvin," and traveling, though her favorite trips were down to the casinos with her neighbor and "bestie," Darlene Losch, always blaming her car for taking them there on its own She loved watching Hallmark movies and "her" Phillies, Eagles, and Tiger Woods play Earlier in her life she was a stay-at-home mom, but worked at Eaton Corporation in Hi-Nella, NJ for over 20 years until retiring in 2001 She was predeceased by her brother Horst Ertl; sister Ingrid Schickling; and husband, Manfred Knopf She is survived by her sister Monika Schickling; brother Hans Ertl and his wife, June; daughter, Diana Italiano; son, Peter Knopf, and his wife, Nicole; and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, and grandchildren and great-grandchildren A private family gathering will be held in the near future to celebrate her wonderful life In leu of flowers, the family is suggesting supporting Sidney-Kimmel Cancer Center

Benedetta "Detta" M. DeVleeschower (nee DiGerolamo), 79, of Collings Lakes, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 19, 2022. Prior to retiring, Detta was a legal secretary in the Atlantic County Public Defenders Office for the State of New Jersey. She was a faithful member of Our Lady of the Lakes Church and proud member of the Catholic Daughters of the America's Court #2262 from 1984 - 2022, where she served as a Regent and also held officer positions. Detta was always willing to help the Church she loved so much. She was also an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. So much so that she quit cooking family dinners because "Sundays were for the Birds!" Most of all, she adored her family and held a very close bond with her brother Charles. Predeceased by her beloved parents Charles and Rose (Scarpinato) DiGerolamo. Beloved wife of David L. DeVleeschower. Devoted mother of David C. DeVleeschower and the late Mark DeVleeschower. Dear sister of Charles (Karen) DiGerolamo and the late Madeline (late Carmine) Fiore. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Friday, September 23rd from 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM at Our Lady of the Lakes Church, 19 Malaga Rd. , Collings Lakes. Margaret "Marge" C. Mastriano (nee Hlebik) age 93 of Collings Lakes, NJ passed away Monday July 4, 2022. Marge grew up in Allison, PA where she graduated from Redstone Twp. High School in Republic, PA. Following high school she moved to Camden, NJ and eventually settled in Collings Lakes, NJ where she has lived since 1961. Marge worked at the A&P Market and retired from SuperFresh in Egg Harbor Twp. in 1999. Marge was a kind and generous person with a great sense of humor. She will be missed by her family, her tight-knit group of friends, and the staff at her retirement community. Marge loved the Lord, read her Bible every day, and always kept her friends and family in her prayers. She is predeceased by her parents John and Magdalena (nee Dzura) Hlebik, her husband Thomas A. Mastriano, brothers John Hlebik Jr. , Andrew Hlebik, and Michael Hlebik, and sisters Sophie Burkhart, Mary Faiella, and Anna Rothman, her grandson Mark Wayrynen and son in law John Wayrynen. Marge is survived by her children Diana Wayrynen, Eugene Foy, Jr. (Joyce), Terry Foy (Linda), and Dale Schwartz (Jennifer). She is the loving grandmother of Christie Gayda, Tricia Swan, Rebekah Davis, Christopher, Michael, Terry, Jr. , Jennifer, Bryan, Kaitlin, Jill, and Mason Foy. She is also a beloved aunt and great-grandmother. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing 9:00am Saturday July 9, 2022 at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third St. Hammonton, NJ.
