A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Rose Marie Pew, of Tampa, FL. , who passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022, will be held on Saturday, July 2nd, 11:00 a. m. , at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 4406 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa, Florida, 33610, Bishop Adrian Shaw, Jr. , officiating. Rose was born on April 4th, 1953, in Miami, Florida, to Willie Z. Pew and Daisy Jenkins. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Daisy Pew; son, Frederick McDuffie; sisters, Annie Pearl Newborn and Gloria Stokes. She leaves precious memories with her father, W. C. Pew(?); children, Alphonso McDuffie (Carolyn), Aleward Robertson; grandchildren, Britney, Alphonso, Whitney, Dominique, Alonso, Keyonna, Jeremy, Aleward, Jr. ; great-grandchildren, Johnnie, Le'Niya, Tryrek, Kanijah, Chasity, Torri, Frederick, Terri, Alphonso III, Ava, Ciahree, Zai'Corey, Amiraclle, Lu'Anna, Queen, Dominick, Avianna, Antonio, Alexander, Ali; brothers, Alfess Pew (Jackie), John Pew (Daisy); special family members, Valerie Pew, Henry Pew (Dendy), a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, July 1st, from 4:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery on Saturday for the service. The repast will immediately follow the funeral. We are following CDC guidelines.
