Rose Hodges Obituary

Rose Marie Hodges, age 68, of Cunningham, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 6, 2023. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a. m. on Monday, October 9, 2023, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. David Mackens officiating. Burial will follow at Hopewell Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p. m. Sunday, October 8, 2023, and again from 9 a. m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home. Rose entered into this life on October 5, 1955, in Newbern, NC to Roy Brinson and Dorothy Robinson Calvert. She was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church. Rose may have been small in stature, but she was strong in her Christian faith. She worked with special needs children on the bus for CMCSS for seventeen years. Rose leaves behind her husband of fifty years, Gregory Lynn Hodges; son, Justin Hodges; daughter, Shannon (Phillip) Morrison; mother, Dorothy Calvert; grandson, Tyler Morrison; brother, Donald Brinson; sister, Mary Robinson.
