Brooklyn, NY

In the loving embrace of our heavenly Father, Rose (Rosie) Di Falco, a woman of grace, warmth, elegance, and humor, was called home on September 9, 2023, in the heart of Brooklyn, NY. Born to the (late) Angelo and (late) Adele (D'Argenio) Di Falco on June 4, 1935, Rosie was a beacon of love and joy, her life a testament to the power of kindness and laughter. Rosie was the cherished sister of the (late) John Di Falco, Eileen Di Falco the (late) Phyllis Di Falco, Georgianna Mineo, (late) Tommaso Mineo, Dolores Scalici and Domenico Scalici. She was a woman who knew how to love and was loved in return. Her laughter was a melody that played in the hearts of those who knew her, a song that will continue to play, even though she's been called home. Rosie was a proud graduate of St. Michael's Academy, class of 1950. Her education shaped her, but it was her spirit that defined her. She was a woman who loved with all her heart, who extended kindness without a second thought, and who could bring laughter to any room she entered. Rosie was a woman who taught us that love is the most powerful force on earth, and that kindness and laughter are the keys to a life well-lived. Rosie was a beloved Aunt to Carmela Brocco, Adele Mineo, Lucy Scalici-McIntyre, Adele Balsamo, Debra Mayorga, John Di Falco, Darren Di Falco, and Michael Di Falco. Great-Aunt to Ryan Mayorga, (late) Luke Mayorga, Daniel Di Falco, Joseph Di Falco, Amanda Di Falco, Michael Brocco, Vienna Brocco, Savanna McIntyre, and Anthony Balsamo. To her nieces and nephews, she was more than an aunt. She was a friend, a confidante, a source of wisdom and love. To her great-nieces and great-nephews, she was a beacon of joy, a source of endless laughter, a cherished part of their lives. Rosie was a woman whose love extended far beyond the confines of family. She was a neighbor, a friend, a pillar of her community. She was a woman who lived her life with an open heart, who welcomed everyone she met with a smile and a kind word. She was a woman who taught us all the true meaning of love, of kindness, of laughter. Rosie's legacy is one of love. It is a legacy of kindness. It is a legacy of laughter. She has left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew her, a mark that will continue to shine, even as she rests in the loving arms of our heavenly Father. As we say our earthly goodbyes to Rosie Di Falco, we do so with heavy hearts, but also with a sense of peace. For we know that she is now at rest, cradled in the loving arms of our heavenly Father. We know that she is now surrounded by the love and laughter that she so freely gave during her time on earth. In the words of the good book, "Well done, good and faithful servant. " Rosie Di Falco, you have lived a life of love, of kindness, of laughter. You have touched the hearts of many, and your legacy will continue to inspire us all. As we bid you a fond farewell, we do so with the knowledge that you are now at peace, wrapped in the loving embrace of our heavenly Father. Rest in peace, dear Rosie. You will be dearly missed, but your spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved you. Amen.
