As well as a large circle of family and friends.Tony was a loving, generous man who was liked by everyone that met him. In the wee hours of February 21, 2024, Lewis Wallace Hayley left this earth to be with Jesus, after a short battle with illness.He is predeceased by parents, Timothy and Pearl Hayley; baby brother, Tommy; parents -in-law, Herbert & Ella Mouland and brother-in-law, Lorin Mouland.Lew is deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Motee, his only daughter, Lisa; son-in-law Morgan; his three precious granddaughters, Hayley (Aaron), Abigayle and Jordan; sisters, Eileen (Bruce) Penney, Ruby Spracklin and special cousin, Wilson (Beulah) Hayley; in-laws, Arthur (Ruth) Mouland, Ruby (Howard) Barrett, Richard (Trudy) Mouland, Terry (Ada) Mouland, Norma (Ray) Stokes & Phoebe Mouland; and a large circle of nephews, nieces, family, and friends.Lew was raised in Charlottetown, Bonavista Bay by his parents along with his two sisters, Eileen and Ruby and special cousin, Wilson. Lew graduated high school and began his work life as a schoolteacher in many small NL communities, including Musgrave Harbour where he met his darling wife, Motee Mouland. They wed in 1968 and moved to St. John’s where their only child, Lisa, was born. It was there Lew started his career with the Provincial Government, working many jobs from Motor Registration Department Clerk to Systems Manager with the Department of Transportation. Taking early retirement at age 53, Lew then started his second career as a seasonal Tax Specialist with H&R Block, from which he retired at age 70.Lew was devoted to his Lord, his family, and his church, The Salvation Army St. John’s West Corps, holding the roles of Bass Drummer, Corps Secretary, and Corps Sergeant Major. After retiring from these roles, he was still an active member helping with PowerPoint and wherever else needed.Lew was an amazing carpenter and handyman, building everything from Hope Chests for his girls to patios at Army quarters to three of his own homes. He loved a good crossword or jigsaw puzzle, watching Jeopardy and the NTV Evening News, spending time with his family, and a good road trip.The family would like to thank all those who have prayed and supported us on this journey. Also thank you to Dr. Neal Manning, staff at the ATP unit, Cancer Unit, ER, ICU, and 4 North A at the HSC for your care and compassion to Lew on his journey.Cremation has taken place; entrusted to Barrett’s Funeral Home. Bruce Fraser TriccoApril 25, 1942 – February 18, 2024It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Bruce Fraser Tricco on February 18th, 2024 at the age of 81.Predeceased by his beloved wife of 56 years, Carol (nee Moore), brother Neil, sister-in-law Fern Moore and son-in-law Robert Hawkins.Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his devoted daughter Pamela and most cherished granddaughters Julianna and Keira; sister-in-law Barbara Tricco and Allison Bailey (Ted); many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews; and a large circle of friends and neighbours.Special thanks and thoughtful acknowledgement to his sister-in-law Barbara, niece Alana and Trevor Snow, friends Andrea and Mike Hawkins, Krista and Chris Jordan, Christine and Sam Hawkins for their unwavering love and support.After his retirement from the provincial government, Bruce dedicated countless hours as an avid volunteer at the 150 RCAF (North Atlantic) Wing where he was a member for 26 years and served as President for two terms. He also received numerous accolades including Wing Member of the Year 2009-2010, Wing Distinguished Service award 2010-2011, Queen Elizabeth ll Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012, and the RCAF National Meritorious Award in 2021. He will be fondly remembered for his quick wit, infinite generosity, and kind heart.Cremation has taken place. Interment and a celebration of Bruce’s life will take place at a later date. Thank you to the Cancer Centre and The Health Science Centre for you compassion and care.Keith had a fulfilled career working for The Canadian Coast Guard for 31 years, second family on the Henry Larson.After retiring Keith could be found on the golf course or taking a long drive enjoying company and sharing laughter. He loved salmon fishing and the outdoors.Keith had a passion for photography and spent his time capturing the perfect picture.He also loved to cook, or eating out. Keith was the first Newfoundland member of the Newfie Food Group on Facebook. He was always searching for a new recipe to try.Keith will be forever missed.Honoring Keith’s wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of Keith’s life will take place at a later date.

After a short but courageous battle with cancer, James (Jim) Fowler passed away in the presence of his loving family on February 13th, 2024. Predeceased by his parents, Theresa and Harold Fowler, brother, Michael Fowler and in-laws, Anita and John Gorman.Left to mourn with a lifetime of memories, his daughters, Angela (Ryan), and Tonia (Devon), his granddaughters, Winter and Vada, and their mother and Jim’s best friend, Sandra (Hubert); sisters, Ellen (Dave) and Patty (Mike); brothers, Harold (Joanne), Bernard (Hollie), Tim (Sherry), and Andy; sister-in-law Danielle Fowler. Jim had a large circle of nieces and nephews, but he was especially close to his Godson and nephew, Adam with whom he had a special father-son relationship.Throughout his life he was blessed to have some wonderful lifelong friends, including, Colleen (Meaney), Bill (MacKenzie), Catherine (Meaney), Rhonda and Bob (Butler), Claire (Rideout) and family, Dot, Cyril, Amanda and Michael (Greeley), Helen (Hayward), as well as Mabel and Paul (Ryan).Jim was the grandson of a Blue Puttee (James Fowler) and the son of a Royal Navy Veteran (Harold Fowler). He was a devout Catholic and loved daily Mass. He had a special devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus and prayed the Rosary every day. Jim lived for his family and the time spent with them, whether it was going to coffee with his sister Ellen, listening to music with his brother-in-law Dave or taking his granddaughters to McDonald’s, he relished every moment with the ones he loved the most.Thank you to Dr. Robert Woodland, Dr. Matthew Verge and Michelle (his caretaker for the past two years) for the medical care you provided Jim throughout his life. Thank you to the nursing staff of 4East and 4West of St. Clare’s hospital, the Hematology team of the Health Sciences Centre and especially the nursing staff of 4NorthA who took such wonderful care of Jim during his stay in the hospital. A special thank you to nurse Randi, the care and compassion you provided Jim, and his family was truly comforting in his final days.Flowers are gratefully accepted, or donations may be made to the following charities that were close to his heart.
