Rose Bell Obituary

Our beloved Rose passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on April 25, 2023. Rose was born June 22nd, 1929, to Antone Michael Cordoza and Rose Marie Cordoza (Barcaglia) Rose resided in Sebastopol, California where she attended Oak Grove School in Graton, CA then promoted to Analy High School in Sebastopol, CA. While attending both schools Rose participated in the school band. She also played her favorite sport of baseball as a catcher for Analy High. During her four years at Analy High, Rose and her best girlfriends created a club called the TBK's and carried on their traditions to date. Rose was very active in her Portuguese culture celebrating the traditions at the Holy Ghost Hall and had the honor of becoming the Portuguese Queen in 1945 at the tender age of 16 years old. Rose being very independent moved to San Francisco in1953 and became employed by Western Electric until 1957. Rose resided in San Francisco, CA until 1990, taking the plunge with long time love Raymond Krukowski moving to Las Vegas, NV until Ray's passing in 2013. Rose returned to San Francisco March 2018 until her passing. In January of 1957 Rose took a position with Pacific, Gas & Electric retiring after 30 years in 1987. A cherished mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, Rose will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to have her touch their hearts. Rose loved to camp, fish and travel. A devoted sports fan who followed several teams, including the San Francisco 49ers, San Francisco Giants. She leaves behind a lifetime of love and her surviving family members. There are countless memories from their happy childhoods and will be forever grateful for
