"Ronnie C. Billiot, 63, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano passed away on Sunday, September 10th, 2023. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at First Baptist Church of Golden Meadow on Friday, September 15th, 2023 from 9:00 am until service time. A Celebration of his life will begin at 11:00 with procession following to his burial at Hebert Cemetery. Mr. Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 18 years: Lisa Guidry Billiot; children: Candice Spencer and Heather Trahan; grandchildren: Jessie Borges, Bralynn Trahan, Joel Chacon, and Londen Herrera; and aunt Doris Jean Pitre. Mr. Billiot was preceded in death by his son: Jessie Paul Trahan, Jr. ; and mother: Shirley B. Thomassie. Ronnie was a dedicated LSU fan and a loving husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. "Irvin Joseph Curole, 94, a native of Lockport and resident of Cut Off; born September 16, 1929 passed away peacefully on October 28th, 2023. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, November 2nd, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 11:00 am until service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 12 noon with burial following in the Church cemetery. Mr. Irvin is survived by his wife of 68 1/2 years: Dora Chabert Curole; daughters: Charlene Schexnayder (Michael) and Connie Adams; grandchildren: Laura Schexnayder Boswell (Mason), Charles Schexnayder, and Ethan Adams (fiance Carly Guidry); great grandchildren: Benjamin, Marguerite and Ellia Boswell; sisters-in-law: Earline Curole and Nina Bourg; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Curole is preceded in death by his parents: Luke Curole Sr. and Sidonia Curole; father-in-law: Charles Chabert; mother-in-law: Ellia Chabert; sisters: Gladys Aucoin and Rena Curole; brothers: Luke Curole Jr. and Freddy Curole; and son-in-law: William "Bill" Adams. Irvin was an avid gardener that enjoyed many trips with his loving wife and family to their camp on Grand Isle. He was an Army veteran who proudly served his country for 4 years by being stationed in Germany and a dedicated employee of Texaco for 31 years. In lieu of flowers; Mr Irvin's family ask for donations in his name to St. Jude Baton Rouge Affiliate at Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital.
