Abe Oberlender, age 95, of Aventura, Florida passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023. Abe was born in Poland. He was married to the late Louise who passed away in 2022.
Abe was known by many as The Candyman, having owned and by making candy.
Abe is survived by his son Bernard Oberlender (Laura); his son Charley Oberlender (Beth); and his daughter Cecile Mankes (Barry); his brother Julio Oberlender (Pearl) and his sister Dora Malach; his grandchildren Jennifer,Alison,Tania, Danielle, Matthew,Saul,David and Margot and his great grandchildren Philip. Brody,Robert,Blake,Sabastian,Evan,Myles,Ella,Atlas. Nico and all who loved him.
A chapel service for Abe will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at Riverside Gordon Memorial Chapels, 17250 W. Dixie Highway, North Miami Beach, FL 33160. Rabbi Jonathan Berkun will officiate the services.
Following the chapel service will be a burial from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Shalom Gardens, 15800 NE 18th Ave,, North Miami Beach , FL 33162
