OBITUARY Ronald Chloe was the fourth child born to Anthony Sr. & Vivian Chloe on October 12, 1950. He transitioned to his heavenly home on August 23, 2023. A stellar student, Ronald graduated from McKinley Tech High School. He spent some time at Howard University before eventually graduation from the University of DC with BS in Mathematics. Throughout his professional career, Ronald excelled as a Professor of Mathematics at UDC, a computer engineer at Boeing in Wichita, KS, a computer analyst at Syncotech in Maryland and most recently, a computer analyst at CACI. A true giver at heart, Ronald used his gift to bless others, as he often lent his mathematical skills to family & friends. And his profession blessed him, as it afforded him the luxury of traveling to many amazing places like Spain and aboard submarines and navy ships. But none of those places could compare to where he was on January 19, 1973. It was on this day in Washington, DC that he met the woman who was to become his beautiful wife, Sandral Stancil (whom he affectionately called Dianne). They married July 18, 1977, and spent the next 46years loving each other. From that union came two wonderful children (Diron Cornelius & Veronica Faith), one incredible daughter-in-law (Djenaba), and four amazing grandchildren (Diron Jr. , Ronald II, Emmanuel & Amani). And if you knew Ronald, you knew that his family was his pride and joy. In fact, his favorite past time (outside of watching old western films and listening to Motown music), was bragging about his kids & grandkids, in his own quiet southern way. The Only thing that could match the love for his family was his love for God. Ronald, along with his wife and son, was baptized into the New Macedonia Baptist Church. he later joined Ebenezer AME Church in 1985; during which time he was a trustee, working in the homeless and tutorial ministries, was briefly a member of the men's choir, an officer of the men's fellowship and an accounting team leader. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents Anthony Sr. & Vivian Chloe; siblings Barbara (George) Ford &Patricia (William Nunnaly. He leaves to celebrate his life and legacy his loving wife Sandral Chloe; children Diron (Djenaba) Chole Sr & Veronica Chloe; grandchildren Diron Jr. , Ronald II, Emmanuel &Amani; siblings Janice (Robert) Pearson, Anthony Chloe Jr, Marilyn Chloe, Linda (Boyd) Prophet, Karen Chloe, Diane Chloe-Bryant, Gail (Daryl) Spencer, Daryl (Marcella) Chloe & Pamela Chloe; in-laws Irene Stancil, Joh (Mary) Stancil, Edna Watson, William (Jean) Stancil, Lavern McNeil, Pansy (Glen Diaz &Felicia McGhee; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, & friends.

IN LOVING MEMORY MARK LAVON CARTER Mark Lavon Carter was born to Francis Joseph Carter (decease) and Mary Fletcher Carter, January 3, 1971, at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, Washington, DC. Mark attended pre-kindergarten through high school in Prince Georges County, Maryland. In middle and high school, he played all sports as if he was a salaried professional athlete. Witnessing Mark's vigor and high energy for sports, his parents enrolled him in the Clinton, Lanham, and Upper Marlboro Maryland's Boy's and Girl's Clubs. Extremely competitive in other sport arenas as well, Mark out danced everyone at the disco; outskated everyone at the skating rink; and out boxed everyone in his weight class. He loved working with his hands. As a result, Mark worked until the job was correctly and completely finished with diligence and pride. Mark was employed by the Prince George's County Summer School Program, by the United States Post Offce, and by various construction organizations throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area. Mark loved and protected his mother. He called her daily to express his appreciation for her support. In addition to his mother, Mark also was a gentleman who loved, respected, and protected all seniors. If Mark felt as if you disrespected his mother or other seniors, he had the courage to address the situation. He had a discerning personality and lived life his way. As a result, Mark did not believe in developing "Alka Selzer" relationships. Once Mark accepted anyone as a friend, you were his friend for life. As an adult, Mark developed kidney disease and began dialysis. He later had a kidney transplant which successfully functioned for five years. Mark's kidney began to function unsuccessfully, and his health declined. He is survived by his son, Marcus L. Jackson; mother, Mary Fetcher Carter, brothers Francis J. Carter, Ill, and James G. Brown; sister Latoya Phelps; his son's mother, Angela Jackson; special friend, Tierra Edwards and her son Davionta Edwards; and grandchildren, Kiana Saunders, Malayah Jackson, Miyanna Jackson, Marcus L. Jackson; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Mark had a special niece whom he adored & and loved very much, Michelle Stewart (deceased). May God reunite them in the resurrection as promised in Revelations 21:1-4.Show more
