Ronald Eugene Belcher, age 75, of Greenback, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Ronnie was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. After completing his military obligation to his country, he lived in the Atlanta, GA area and worked as a lineman with Georgia Power Company. After returning to Greenback, Ronnie founded Belcher Trucking and co-owned it until 2016, when he founded PR Trucking. Ronnie was an avid collector of classic cars and never failed to modify each one he owned to illustrate his distinctive preferences: drag racing fuel continued to run in his veins even after he stopped participating in that sport. Friendships he formed were lasting and true, and his generosity knew no boundaries. Ronnie Belcher looked for the good that is within every person who crossed his path, and had an uncanny ability to ferret out the bad. He was a fair and honest man and was generous to a fault with his time helping others. Survivors, wife, Patricia Belcher, Sons, Ronald E. Jr. (Deborrah) Belcher, Jack F. (Beth) Belcher, Grandchildren, Brooke, Alex and Izzy Belcher, Joshua Chabot, 8 great-grandchildren with two more coming later this year, 4 step-children, 9 step-grandchildren, Preceded in death by parents, Other E. & Vina F. Hunt Belcher, sisters, Linda Kay McDaniel, Sharon Diane Evans, nephew, Justin Wayne Bowen. Funeral 7 P. M. Wednesday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. David Cooper officiating. Interment 10 A. M.
