JACKISCH, Kathy Lee passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at age 58. Beloved daughter of "Sandy" Katherine (nee Guy) and the late Robert Jacksich. Dear sister of Michael Jackisch. Loving aunt of Daniel and Bryan Jackisch. Cherished best friend of Cindy Morton. Also survived by many treasured aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Kathy was a 1983 graduate of Forest Park High School where she actively participated in sports and her church’s youth groups. She attended the University of Cincinnati and was an endeared member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority (Beta Pi chapter). Kathy spent many years in the restaurant industry followed by many years in the dental industry as an office professional. She was known to converse with all the patients regularly, knew them all by name, and ensured their needs were met in the best possible way. Kathy was known for her rambunctious spirit, kind heart, and her love for all those around her. She was especially drawn to the disabled and the marginalized people of the world. She desired to make life better for all, and she was willing to drop everything to help those in need. Her actions in life were reflective of her close personal relationship with Christ. She attended countless contemporary Christian music concerts, festivals and even two cruises. She developed many deep friendships through these experiences with other fans and even the artists themselves. In fact, at one particular Meet and Greet event, the artists told her they had met her before. That was the kind of impression she left with people. Kathy was also the undisputed #1 fan of the Cincinnati Reds, and would spend her days cheering on her team, or counting down the days until Opening Day. She was a season ticket holder, and she also enjoyed traveling to other ballparks where she would befriend the fans of the opponents. She also enjoyed watching football, golf and tennis, and she could hold a sports conversation with anyone. Visitation will be held at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pk. , Springdale, OH 45246 on Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 6-8pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 11am. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Donations in Kathy's memory may be made to Cincinnati Reds Community Fund, Attn: Matthew Wagner, 100 Joe Nuxhall Way, Cincinnati, OH 45202-4109 or online at RedsDonateShow more
