Roger England Obituary

Roger H. England, age 79, of Peoria, passed away Monday, April 24, 2023 at 3:38 a. m. at his home. He was born March 4, 1944 Peoria to Howard A. and Evlyn (Horton) England. He married Roberta Millslagel on April 17, 1970 in Henry. She survives along with one son, Todd (Jennifer) England of Mackinaw, one daughter, Leann (Allen) Walters of Macomb, five grandchildren: Chelsi (Brandon) Huffman of Hamilton, IL, Zachery (Tiffany) England of Pekin, Lexi Osman, Hunter Osman, Gage Osman all of Mackinaw, six great-grandchildren with one on the way, and one sister, Donna Leighs of Witt, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Dick England, and one brother-in-law, Robert Leighs. Roger graduated from Limestone Community High School and spent his entire life in the Peoria area. He was a Butcher for Raber Packing Co. in Peoria retiring in 1992. He loved tinkering with engines and riding his 4 wheeler with family and friends. Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no public services at this time. There will be a celebration of Rogers's life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to your favorite animal charity or to Hospice Carle Health.
