"Rod Bost, age 72 of 54 Windswept Lane, Sparta, NC passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. He was born January 13, 1951 in Iredell County to the late Charles Melvin, Jr. and Grace Perry Bost. He is devastatedly survived by his wife of 47 years, Kathleen Burr Bost of the home; one sister, Debbie Fox and husband Steve; nephew and nieces, Josh Fox and wife Carrieann of Statesville, Abby Malloy and husband Steve of Lincolnton, Emily Martin and husband Jamie of Camden, SC; grand-nephews and grand-niece, Max and Caden Malloy, Riley Grace Fox, Myers Martin; Godsons, Will Debord of Fredericksburg, VA, Dan Debord of Maine and his four footed constant companion, Holly. The family requests the honor of your presence at the service to honor the life of Rod at 1:00 p. m. Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Christ Episcopal Church. A private committal will be at a later date. There will no formal visitation at the church. The family will welcome visitors at the home.
