Roberta Lewis Obituary

LIVELY--Roberta Haynie Lewis, 78, of Lively passed away on April 22, 2023. She was predeceased by her mother, Garnette Haynie; father, Alpha Haynie; and sister, Adell Davis. She is survived by her husband, Donald O. "Donnie" Lewis; son, Ashley Lewis (Pam) of Florida; grandchildren, Brandi Kuhrt (Bryan) of Florida, Kaitlin Messenger of Florida, Tyler and Madison Lewis of Florida; twin brother, Bobby Haynie (Helen Marie) of White Stone; sister, Clara H. Thomas (Sonny); and great-grandchildren, Max, Olivia and Haylee Kuhrt of Florida. A Lancaster County native, she was a career employee of Lancaster County as a Circuit Court Clerk. She enjoyed going on cruises, trips to Nags Head and Florida to see her son, daughter-in-law and grandkids, playing cards and reading. She will be remembered by her selflessness, kind heart and being a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and Memaw. Visitation will be held at 11 a. m. May 6 at Currie Funeral Home.
