Roberta Brian Obituary

Roberta Gail Brian passed away peacefully on April 29, 2023, in Tucson, Arizona. She was born to Robert and Martha Kraft on October 20, 1946, and raised in Mount Morris, Illinois. She studied at Western Illinois University and began working for Weyerhauser in Chicago, Illinois where she met her husband, James Brian. The couple transferred to Tacoma, WA in the early 1970s. Together they raised three children in Tacoma before amicably divorcing. Gail received her broker's license and opened her own business, Evergreen Residential Management, which she ran for more than 20 years. Gail loved the southwest and moved to Tucson, Arizona last summer to enjoy retirement. She is survived by her children, Andrew Brian (Jennifer), Adrienne Thorpe (Travis) and Alec Brian. She had five grandchildren, Isabelle Brian, Cheyenne Brian, Charlotte Thorpe, Nyla Brian, Carter Brian, and sister Karen Kraft of Springfield, Illinois. Four nieces and nephews and four great nieces and a nephew. A celebration of Life will be held in Tacoma, WA later this summer.
