Robert Earl Witt was born March 25, 1932 in Jackson County, Kentucky and departed this life Tuesday October 3, 2023 in Blanchester, Ohio being 91 years of age. He was the son of the late Charley and Lizzy (Farmer) Witt. Robert is survived by three children; Bobby Ray Witt and (Pam) of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Mark Anthony Witt and (Jeanette) of Blanchester, Ohio and Lynetta Richardson and (Jeff) also of Blanchester, Ohio by one sister Shirley Whicker of Louisville, Kentucky and by 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Robert was of the Baptist Faith and also a veteran of the Korean War. Funeral service for Robert Earl Witt will be 3:30 P. M. Sunday October 8, 2023 at the Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Bales officiating with burial in the Bales Cemetery. Visitation 12:00 noon Sunday at the Lakes Funeral Home. Lakes Funeral Home in charge of the arangements. Mary Magdalene Patrick, age 70, of Blanchester, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023, at her home with family by her side. She was born May 23, 1953, in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Curtis and Lissie (Banks) Townsend. Mary loved reading, enjoyed listening to gospel music, and had a passion for collecting Angels. More than anything, Mary loved when her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren spent time with her. Mary is survived by three children, Wayne "Bub" (Marianne) Patrick of Bethel, Tammy (Shane) Sherwood of Blanchester, and Tina (J. R. ) Shipley of Bloomington, Indiana; grandchildren, Jeff Smallwood, Curtis (Sam) Patrick, Chelsea Sherwood, Ivory (Bobby) Brewer, Chazz (Tori) Sherwood, Harley (McKenzie) Patrick, Ashley Patrick, and Jared Shipley; great grandchildren, Colton, Layla, Jameson, JR, Ryder, Logan, Damian, Scarlet, Rylee, Carson, and Michael; brother Billy Joe Townsend of Blanchester; and special friend and neighbor Betty Betuel. In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband Wallace Ray Patrick, on December 14, 2015. Mary's family would like to thank Crossroads Hospice, especially nurse Mollie Smith, for the loving care shown to Mary. Local funeral services will be held 7:00 p. m. Friday, November 24, 2023, at the Wilmington Church of the Nazarene. Pastor Donis Williams of the church, will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p. m. until the time of service at 7:00 p. m. at the church. Graveside services and interment will take place 12:00 p. m. noon, Saturday, November 25, 2023, at the Stonegate Cemetery in Stanton, Kentucky. Brother Joey Rogers will officiate graveside services. Richard Chawn Cragwall, 57, of Blanchester, Ohio went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on November 11, 2023. He lived a full and meaningful life, serving his country and his God with unwavering dedication. His favorite Bible verse was the first verse he memorized as a kid--Proverbs 3:5-6. His last piece of advice to Ella and Jacob was, "Keep your eyes on Jesus and everything will work out. Let Him be your rest and comfort. "Chawn leaves behind his wife of 22 years, Teri Cragwall; children Ella (Brandon) Clarke, Jacob (Lauren) Cragwall, and Tyler McLaren; grandsons, Cash Clarke, Finney Clarke, Malachi Cragwall, Jeremiah Cragwall, and baby Cragwall due in April; father, Richard "Dick" Cragwall; siblings, Carl Cragwall, Michael (Sarah) Cragwall, Misty (Jamie) Jones, and Rebecca (Mick) Flynn. Chawn was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine "Cathy" Cragwall. Although we will miss him dearly, we take comfort in knowing that Chawn, aka Pops, lived a life of service, faith, and love. Richard Sherman Camp, age 68, of Blanchester, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born May 8, 1955, in Wilmington,, the son of the late Dean and Ruth Ann (Fields) Camp. Richard was a true outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting,, fishing, and trapping. He also enjoyed gardening, and especially growing tomatoes. More than anything, he loved his family. Richard is survived by his daughter, Mira (Charles) Holley; step-children, Chris (Tasha) Powell of Leesburg, Jonathan (Casie) Powell of Blanchester, and Miranda Powell of Blanchester; granddaughter Sylvi Holley; 10 step grandchildren; and siblings, Harold (Lisa) Camp of Sabina, Mary Camp of Wilmington, and Cindy Smith of Wilmington. Harry Dennis Furguson, Sr. , 62, of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023 at The Laurels of Blanchester, OH with family by his side. He was born July 22, 1961 in Wilmington, OH, the son of the late Jo Ann (Wallace) Hovermale and Harry "Bo" Furguson. He was a caring father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, always ready to lend a helping hand, whether assisting with fixing a car or staying up drinking coffee to offer a listening ear. He had a spunky sense of humor and always had a joke or nickname at the ready to put a smile on everyone's face. A hard worker throughout his career, Dennis most enjoyed his time spent as an over-the-road truck driver, loved seeing new places across the country, often picking up little souvenirs and gifts during his travels for family members. He also enjoyed reading, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family. Dennis is survived by his children, Harry (Maggie) Furguson, Jr. , Johnny (Angie) Toner, Donna (Brad) Yount, and Crystal Toner, along with sisters Evelyn "Princie" Miller and BJ (Joe) Wahsum; a brother, Timothy Furguson; his grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and long-time friends Kellie Reeves and Larry Kelsey. She was the beloved wife of Herschel Parker; proud mother of Kimberlyn (Mitch) Klein, Darren (Maria) Parker, Kyle (Laura) Parker, and Shannon (Patrick) Aselage; loving grandmother of Barbie Klein, Eva Klein, Herschel Jacob Parker, Samantha Parker, Josh Parker, Sydney Parker, Andrew Parker, Max Aselage, and Owen Aselage; great-grandmother of Audry Parker, Levi Parker, and Harlow Klein. Janet Lee McGaha, age 76, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Sunday morning, September 24, 2023 at the Continental Manor Nursing Home in Blanchester, Ohio. She was born November 23, 1946 in Whitley City, Kentucky, daughter of the late John & Reba (Thomas) Foster. On September 4, 1963, she married Roger Dale McGaha Sr, who passed on December 5, 2020. They were married for 57 years. Surviving are her son- Roger McGaha JR of Wilmington; daughter- Reva (Mike) Jarrell of Morrow, OH; & grandson, Allen Jarrell. In addition to her parents and husband, Janet was preceded in death by her brother, John Foster.
