Robert Earl Witt was born March 25, 1932 in Jackson County, Kentucky and departed this life Tuesday October 3, 2023 in Blanchester, Ohio being 91 years of age. He was the son of the late Charley and Lizzy (Farmer) Witt. Robert is survived by three children; Bobby Ray Witt and (Pam) of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Mark Anthony Witt and (Jeanette) of Blanchester, Ohio and Lynetta Richardson and (Jeff) also of Blanchester, Ohio by one sister Shirley Whicker of Louisville, Kentucky and by 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Robert was of the Baptist Faith and also a veteran of the Korean War. Funeral service for Robert Earl Witt will be 3:30 P. M. Sunday October 8, 2023 at the Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Bales officiating with burial in the Bales Cemetery. Visitation 12:00 noon Sunday at the Lakes Funeral Home. Lakes Funeral Home in charge of the arangements. Mary Magdalene Patrick, age 70, of Blanchester, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023, at her home with family by her side. She was born May 23, 1953, in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Curtis and Lissie (Banks) Townsend. Mary loved reading, enjoyed listening to gospel music, and had a passion for collecting Angels. More than anything, Mary loved when her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren spent time with her. Mary is survived by three children, Wayne "Bub" (Marianne) Patrick of Bethel, Tammy (Shane) Sherwood of Blanchester, and Tina (J. R. ) Shipley of Bloomington, Indiana; grandchildren, Jeff Smallwood, Curtis (Sam) Patrick, Chelsea Sherwood, Ivory (Bobby) Brewer, Chazz (Tori) Sherwood, Harley (McKenzie) Patrick, Ashley Patrick, and Jared Shipley; great grandchildren, Colton, Layla, Jameson, JR, Ryder, Logan, Damian, Scarlet, Rylee, Carson, and Michael; brother Billy Joe Townsend of Blanchester; and special friend and neighbor Betty Betuel. In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband Wallace Ray Patrick, on December 14, 2015. Mary's family would like to thank Crossroads Hospice, especially nurse Mollie Smith, for the loving care shown to Mary. Local funeral services will be held 7:00 p. m. Friday, November 24, 2023, at the Wilmington Church of the Nazarene. Pastor Donis Williams of the church, will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p. m. until the time of service at 7:00 p. m. at the church. Graveside services and interment will take place 12:00 p. m. noon, Saturday, November 25, 2023, at the Stonegate Cemetery in Stanton, Kentucky. Brother Joey Rogers will officiate graveside services. The family asks that memorial donations be directed to the Wilmington Church of the Nazarene, 2193 Wayne Road, Wilmington, Ohio 45177. Harry Dennis Furguson, Sr. , 62, of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023 at The Laurels of Blanchester, OH with family by his side. He was born July 22, 1961 in Wilmington, OH, the son of the late Jo Ann (Wallace) Hovermale and Harry "Bo" Furguson. He was a caring father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, always ready to lend a helping hand, whether assisting with fixing a car or staying up drinking coffee to offer a listening ear. He had a spunky sense of humor and always had a joke or nickname at the ready to put a smile on everyone's face. A hard worker throughout his career, Dennis most enjoyed his time spent as an over-the-road truck driver, loved seeing new places across the country, often picking up little souvenirs and gifts during his travels for family members. He also enjoyed reading, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family. Dennis is survived by his children, Harry (Maggie) Furguson, Jr. , Johnny (Angie) Toner, Donna (Brad) Yount, and Crystal Toner, along with sisters Evelyn "Princie" Miller and BJ (Joe) Wahsum; a brother, Timothy Furguson; his grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and long-time friends Kellie Reeves and Larry Kelsey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Marty Furguson. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington, OH.
