Robert E. WinkleAugusta Twp. , MichiganAge 76 passed away peacefully on Monday morning, June 20, 2022, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 20, 1945, in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Wilbur and Leona (Wardle) Winkle. Bob was a 1963 graduate of Lincoln High School and on January 16, 1965, he married Donna Mull at Marble Memorial United Methodist Church in Milan, and she survives. Bob was employed with A & L Parts Inc. in Ann Arbor, for 37 years, retiring in 2007 as an automotive parts manager. Soon after retirement he and Donna were able to travel extensively in their fifth wheel, traveling throughout the United States. He also enjoyed golfing, hunting and farming. His two daughters were the apple of his eye (until the grandchildren came along), and he was always there to lend a helping hand or fixing something that was broke. He truly was a "Jack of all Traits". He and Donna enjoyed 57 years of marriage and a beautiful family. Besides Donna he is survived by his daughters: Sheri Winkler of Willis, Laura and Jaime Lambert of Ypsilanti, five grandchildren: TJ, Barbara Jean, Jessica, Max and Hanna, a brother, Wilbur Jr. (Luanne) Winkle of Ypsilanti, along with many special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Frederick and son-in-law, Mark Winkler. Visitation will be held at Ochalek-Stark Funeral Home, Milan on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 3:00-7:00pm and on Thursday, June 23rd. from 10:00am until time of funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM. Pastor Michael Vollmer of the Stony Creek United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Marble Park Cemetery, Milan, MI.
