Elizabeth will be remembered as a loving wife and mother. She was a hard worker and was employed by Lott Industries and Ann Grady as a custodian. Elizabeth was a devout catholic her entire life. Her favorite activities were sleeping, eating, and watching television, especially westerns and MASH.Left to cherish her memory are husband, Mark Harris; daughter, Tracey Smith; grandchildren, Solita Smith and David Lewis Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Dominic, and Diego. Tom Taylor, 74, of Monclova, OH passed away peacefully Sunday, February 18, 2024, with his family by his side. He was born in Caro, MI on December 13, 1949, to Alger Bennett and Virginia Ruth (Wolters) Taylor and was a graduate of Grandview Heights High School in 1968. Tom was married to Rhoda Barnes on August 4, 1979, and spent 44 years together.Tom’s hobbies included anything outdoors but mostly fishing, as well as boating, working on cars, and telling stories to whomever would listen. Tom loved visiting the cabin in Mio, MI as much as possible in which he helped his Dad and Grandfather build as a kid. Above all Tom loved his 5 children and 5 grandchildren, they were everything to him, and he never missed an opportunity to tell others about what they were up to and their accomplishments.For work Tom started Adohr Corp in 1982, a General Contracting company, where he was involved in many different types of construction projects including fast-food, retail, healthcare, education, and government. Tom was a fixture on the job site and will be remembered for his strong-willed personality. His strong-willed personality helped him navigate through a seven year, hard fought battle with Lung Cancer and Leukemias.Tom is survived by his wife, Rhoda Taylor; children, Tami Taylor, Tommy (Jennifer) Taylor, Don (Adrienne) Taylor, Mike (Mistie) Taylor, and Jackie Taylor; Grandchildren, Cody, Cameron, Erin, Bennett, and Penelope; Sister Sandy (Brock) Pickett; step siblings, Bob Gelia, and Carol Roscoe; sister-in-law Connie Taylor; He is proceeded in death by his brother Roger Taylor.A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 in the Swan Lake Mausoleum at Toledo Memorial Park, 6382 Monroe Street, Sylvania, OH from 11:00-Noon. "Dolores Schultz, age 94, passed away on February 2, 2024 at The Lakes of Monclova. She was born on March 6, 1929, in Toledo to Edward A. and Carrie (Walton) DeAngelo. Dolores graduated from St. Ursula High School and attended Mary Manse College. She learned to fly at age 16, to emulate her hero Amelia Earhart, however that avocation nearly got her killed as she accidentally flew over restricted air space in Cleveland during WWII. Dolores enjoyed raising her family in Hollywood, Florida and South Toledo. \u0026quot;Dee Dee\u0026quot; as she was known to her friends was an avid gardener. One of her most thrilling memories of her life included going to 2 of J.F.K.\u0027s Inaugural Balls. She is survived by her children, Ed Knight, David Knight, Laura DeAngelo and Chuck Knight, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard Schultz; her 2 year old son, Johnny Knight and 64 year old daughter, Carolyn Robinson. "Herbert E. Fultz, age 75 of Monclova, OH passed away peacefully on January 6, 2024 while surrounded by his family. Herb was born to Harry and Cecile Mae (Howe) Fultz on November 9, 1948. He received his Bachelor\u0027s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Toledo. Herb married the love of his life, Diane McLellan in 1978 and together they raised 3 wonderful children. He started the Whitehurst Company in November 1983 with his partner, James McInnis and together they developed numerous multi-family housing projects over the years. Herb was one of the most prominent builders of houses, apartments, and condominiums in the Toledo area and Cottonwood, AZ. He had a passion for collecting cars and Lake Erie where he loved boating and spending time on Middle Bass Island with family and friends. He also enjoyed spending his winters in Florida. Herb was a dedicated family man and loved taking trips and spending time with his family and friends. Herb was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ian; 3 brothers and 3 sisters. He is survived by his loving wife, Diane; daughters, Christina (Todd) Ely, Renee (Lucas Guy) Fultz; grandchildren, Jake, Talon, Ryan (Kelly), Taner and another grandchild on the way; sisters, Joyce Johnson and Terria Lowe; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Joan Marie Lukasik, of Monclova, OH passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Mercy Health-Perrysburg Hospital. She was born in Toledo, OH to Alex and Doris (Czubachowski) Orzechowski. Joan was a graduate of Central Catholic High School. She was a retiree of First National Bank of Toledo. She was a member of the Maumee Elks and the Catholic War Vets Auxiliary, and a parishioner of St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Catholic Church. Joan was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald S. Lukasik; and brother, Frank Orzechowski. She is survived by her son, Ronald (Anjenene) Lukasik Jr. ; granddaughters, Lucy and Lyla; and sister, Vivian (Duane) Angevine. "Robert \u0026quot;Bob\u0026quot; Williams, 85, of Monclova, Ohio, died at 3:10 p. m. Sunday, October 8, 2023. He was born May 16, 1938, in Republic, Ohio to Howard and Marie (Gooding) Williams. On December 22, 1957, he married his high school sweetheart Mardell \u0026quot;Mardy\u0026quot; Swander. Together they raised two children, Roxana (Dave) Keiser of Waterville, Ohio, and Mark (Anita) Williams of Swanton, Ohio. In 1960, Bob began his career as an apprentice diesel mechanic at Great Lakes Diesel in Toledo, Ohio. In 1972 he joined Columbus Equipment also of Toledo, Ohio, to help establish the Diesel Engine and Transmission Rebuild Department, from where he retired in 2004. Near his retirement and until the very end, he was an Antique John Deere Tractor enthusiast! He began by restoring his father\u0027s 1944 John Deere B which he drove on the family farm as a young child. Bob truly had a servant\u0027s heart and was always helping family, friends, and neighbors with fixing and repairing things. He was \u0026quot;Papa\u0026quot; to his fourteen grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren! He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mardy, and his three brothers: Wenzel, Howard Jr. , and Richard Williams, and two sisters: Margery Wall and Alta Jean Groman. Elaine Patton, age 80, formerly of Holland, died September 22, 2023, at Otterbein of Monclova, where she was a resident. Elaine was born January 2, 1943, in Toledo to the late Clarence and Martha (Tomaszewski) Michalak. She was a homemaker and worked in the office at Kellermeyer until retiring in 2008. In her free time Elaine enjoyed a nice dinner out, crocheting, and spending time with her beloved family. She was also an animal lover, especially her dogs. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Laurie (Randy) Rose, Jeffery (Lynn) Patton, Donna (Paul) Buckenmeyer, Bruce (Beth) Patton, and Andrew (Brandi) Patton; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Elaine was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hobert, and sister, Carol McNeely. Family and friends are invited to visit from 10 a. m. until the time of services at 12 p. m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, in the Walker Funeral Home, Holland Springfield Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway. Interment will follow at Springfield Township Cemetery. He worked as a landscaper at Pawlaczyk's Ever-Green. John loved to hang out with his friends and listen to his music loud. He liked eagles and Harley Davidson. You could find John with his favorite, Busch Light, and watching NASCAR. He is survived by his children; Jonathan (Leasha) Schlegel and Samantha (Jimmy Bragg) Anderson; grandchildren, Erin and Anna; sister, Tracy (Bill) Rickman and mother of children and forever friend, Laurie Mueller. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends and family will be received Friday, September 22, 2023, from 12-2 p. m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. TOLEDO, OH- James B. Dominique, age 89, of Toledo, formerly of Deerfield, died early Saturday morning, September 9, 2023, at Otterbein Skilled Nursing of Monclova, OH. Born November 30, 1933, in Fulton County, Ohio, he was the 8th of 9 children born to the late Noah and Jeanette (Grime) Dominique. At a young age James moved to Riga, where he attended grade school. He earned a strong work ethic at a young age, working at Revco and doing residential construction contracting work before serving 33 years as a machine operator for Hydromatic in Toledo. He was fortunate to retire at the young age of 57. Jim married the love of his life, Elaine Ruth McCarty, on August 14, 1954, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Blissfield. They celebrated over 64 years as husband and wife before her passing on August 25, 2018. While raising their family, Jim was an active supporter in their academics and athletics, serving as a baseball coach, boy scout troop leader, and had memberships in the Deerfield band and athletic booster clubs. He also gave of his time and service as a Deerfield volunteer fireman for many years. Jim and Elaine were active with the Maple City Swingers square dancing club, traveling to nearby communities to perform. A true outdoorsman, he loved to spend his spare time hunting, fishing, and trapping. He and Elaine were blessed with spending many winters in Palmetto, FL in their retirement. Jim was a longtime parishioner of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Blissfield, before recently attending Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Toledo. He is remembered as a great father who loved to be social with his remarkable humor. Surviving are four children, Vickie Carpenter of Toledo, OH, Bernie (Gloria) Dominique of Blissfield, Steve (Audrey) Dominique of Baldwin, MI, and Joe Dominique of Adrian; sister, Frances Zeims of Toledo; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family members. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by seven of his siblings. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, from 10:00 a. m. until 12:00 p. m. at the Anderson-Rudd Funeral Home, Blissfield. A funeral service for James will immediately follow at 12:00 p. m. Burial will follow in Palmyra Cemetery. You may send condolences to the family at www. andersonfuneralservices. com.
