Obituary of Robert "Big Rob" Strickland Robert ("Big Rob") Wayne Strickland, 71, of Mustang, Oklahoma, passed from this earth on April 17,2019. Robert was born to Arville and Cheevie Strickland, February 17, 1948, in Portland, Arkansas. He leaves as his legacy 9 children: Toney Strickland, Robert W. Strickland, Jr., Gary Strickland, Tamatha Naquin, Tammy Taylor, Robbie Jo Strickland, Paula Strickland, April Garcia and Misty Strickland. He also leaves to cherish his memory 30 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. His children remember him as a hard-working, loving, somewhat ornery and dedicated man. He was preceded in death by Arville Strickland, (father), Cheevie Strickland, (mother), Patricia and Bernice (sisters), B.W. Strickland (brother), Robert Lee Strickland (son) and Kyle Garcia (grandson). Robert was an auto mechanic until he retired in 2013. Robert's many hobbies included fishing, working on cars, listening to country music, watching westerns and of course spending time with his family and friends. A memorial is scheduled for Saturday, April 27, 2019, at 2:00pm, at Bishop King Funeral Home Chapel. Harold Yandel will officiate the ceremony.
