Brother Dick Veith (Shirl), Sister Mary Jane Weierke (Stu), and many other relatives and friends. Evie (Klassy) was a prominent realtor, for 50 years, with over 40 years with Edina Realty. Evie's dedication and expertise touched the lives of many, helping them find their dream homes and creating lasting memories. Her professionalism and care left a mark on all those she helped along the way. Her annual trips to the Bahamas with her cousin, "sister" Cindy Feldman, as they called each other were undoubtedly a highlight, filled with joy and unforgettable memories. Evie's passion for life shined brightly in every journey she embarked upon, leaving a trail of warmth and happiness wherever she went. A devout Catholic, Evie's faith was the foundation of her strength and kindness. Her presence at church was a testament to her commitment to her beliefs and her community. One of the many joys in Evie's life was spending time with her grandkids. She enjoyed watching Taylor and Tara's sporting events bringing the "cowbell" along to make sure they knew she was there cheering them on. She enjoyed her Fridays and time spent with her granddaughter, Maddie and playing Bingo with her grandson Tucker and his friends, sharing in the simple pleasures of laughter and friendly competition. These moments of connection and joy were a reflection of the love and warmth that she brought to all aspects of her life. Evie Naugle will be remembered for her kindness, her strength, and the love that she shared so generously with those around her. Her legacy of love and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. We would like to extend a special thanks to the University of Minnesota for the care and dignity they gave her from the time she was admitted until she passed. It was such a blessing for our family. Cerise Grace Diedrich, age 20, of Woodbury, MN died Tuesday, February 20, 2024. She was born in Saint Paul, MN on August 21, 2003 to LeeAnn Diedrich and Jim Diedrich. Cerise was a 2022 high school graduate of the Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists where she was able to explore her love of music and art. For almost seven years, Cerise battled severe and enduring anorexia nervosa. As hard as she fought to overcome it, the grip of this brutal disease was too strong and ultimately took her life. The world lost a bright, intuitive, creative and loving young woman who always showed kindness and compassion to others. She was loved deeply by so many. If love could have saved her she would still be with us. Along with her love of art and music, Cerise loved her family and friends, travel, holidays, fashion, cats and all things mystical. Gerry had a great time with her lady friends going dancing at the Prom Center on University Avenue in St. Paul. Gary’s (son-in-law) mom Gladys was one of Gerry’s closest friends which would accompany her to the Prom Center and the bingo halls. Gerry loved to play bingo and “O” 75 was her mother’s favorite bingo number. Quality Cafeteria was one of Gerry’s favorite jobs to go and help make the delicious Chicken Pot Pie which she would serve to her favorite customers. The two daughters Donna and Dianne also worked with their mom. Bowling was Gerry’s favorite sport and she was a darn good bowler. Some of the holidays the family would go over to the Midway shopping center and go to the bowling alley and she would win most of the games. Family vacations were to head and go fishing at Uncle John and Aunt Edna’s Lake home. Dad would take all of us out fishing and if we were lucky, we would actually catch a fish. We would also head to Annandale Minnesota to go to Grandma Hanson’s cabin. She was not really our grandma, but she was such a sweet lady we called her grandma. Gerry was strong willed and stubborn at times with that Irish spunk, but she had an enormous heart and loved her friends and family. She was generous, loyal, and loved to take care of the grandchildren when they needed daycare. She was feisty and full to the brim with knowledge gained through all of her life experiences living on the farm. She will be remembered for all the heart she shared with her friends and family. She truly loved each of them and if you knew her, you knew it. When her time came, she carried herself with dignity, strength, and full of love for those who went before her. She will be missed dearly.
