Robert "Bob" P. Sorrell, 85, passed away Monday, June 20, 2022. He was born on November 29, 1936 in Milfield, Ohio and was a resident of Doylestown for 59 years. Bob was a U. S. Army veteran serving in the 27th Division and was owner operator of Bob Sorrell Masonry. Bob was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He enjoyed being in the Auxiliary Coast Guard in Okeechobee, Florida. Preceded in death by his son, Donald Sorrell, four brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his wife of 62+ years, Gerri; son, Bob (Lisa) Sorrell of Ft. Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Robert (Dalena), Aaron, Nick and Devin; two great-grandchildren and sisters, Judy and Suzanne. Bob's funeral service will be held Saturday, June 25th at 10 a. m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave. , Barberton with Pastor Jerry Butcher officiating.
