BENNETT, TIMOTHY PETER, age 62, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Friday, March 1, 2024, at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw. Funeral Services for Tim will take place at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Clark Family Funeral Chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Woodland Cemetery. Following burial, a luncheon will be held at Seventh Generation. The family will receive friends on Tuesday beginning at 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel. Tim was born in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, March 26, 1961, the son of Robert and Esther (McDonald) Bennett. He was a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe. Tim was married to Dawn (Snyder) on August 18, 2007; she preceded him in death on May 15, 2020. He enjoyed fishing, bonfires, and time with the grandkids. Tim also liked playing cards and dice and watching old western movies and COPS. Tim is survived by his children, Jackie (Aaron) Graveratte, Erica Bennett, Keith (Melissa) Bennett, Tina Sceals, Anthony Bennett, Aaron Bennett; stepchildren Charles (Kathy) Snyder, Terry (Amanda) Snyder; 16 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brothers Randy Bennett, Robert (Genevieve) Bennett; sisters Lisa Bennett, Rhonda (Mike) Bennett and many nieces and nephews. Tim is also survived by a special caregiver, Melonie Munoz. Tim was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son Timothy; brothers Leo and Michael Bennett; and sister Roberta Bennett.

Patricia attended St. Charles High School where she laid the foundation for a life filled with compassion and joy.Throughout her life, Patricia found immense pleasure in simple yet profound activities such as fishing, camping, and sharing heartwarming bonfires with cherished family and friends. Her presence brought light and comfort to those around her.In the company of loved ones, Patricia thrived. HOPAK, Stanley “Stan”– of Saginaw, MI, age 78, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024. A Funeral Service with Military Honors will be held 11 AM Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. The family will receive visitors 3-7 PM Friday, March 8, 2024, and 10-11 AM on Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lymphoma Research Foundation. Stanley was born in Flint, MI on November 28,1945, son of the late Stanley and Matilda (Pagach) Hopak. He married the late Sharon Kay Larson on January 18, 1969, in Flint, MI and she preceded him in death on November 16, 2008. He graduated from Flint Southwestern High School in 1963, where he played football and wrestled. Stan honored his country in the United States Navy serving 4 years and was honorably discharged on January 10, 1968. He worked for General Motors Buick Assembly in Flint, plants 5, 10 and 36 for 30 years, retiring in 1989. He met his partner, the late Renee King and her family and welcomed them as his own. He enjoyed golf at the Flint Elks, playing cards and cornhole. He loved to cheer on Michigan football, but most of all loved being with friends and his family he dearly cherished. Stanley is survived by his daughter, Lisa Campbell and fiancé, Travis Triplett; granddaughters, Kasey Campbell and Kelsey Campbell; many nieces and nephews; extended family of Renee, Neil and Dawn Carter, Lisa and Dan Reuter, Nicole King and Suzanne, Gus and Emily Burns, Hannah Carter and fiancé, Jim McNally, Olivia Sellars and Natalija and Lexi Sellars; great granddaughter and ice cream buddy, Olive; best friend, Rick Burchell and many other close friends; four-legged feline friend, Baby. Gregory J. Johnson Saginaw Twp., Michigan Beloved son, husband, father and brother passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. Age 58 years. The son of Aubrey Johnson and Nancy (Davis) Tracy, Greg was born on February 20, 1966 in Detroit, Michigan. Greg graduated from Arthur Hill School Class of 1984. He married Vicki Cawley, his loving wife of 31 years, on February 20, 1993. She survives him. Greg was a former owner of Northern Pride Excavating. He currently was employed as an Infrastructure Team Leader for Hemlock Semiconductor for the last 15 years. Greg was proud to hold that position without having a college degree. He enjoyed spending time at the family cottage on Wixom Lake boating and jet skiing. Greg loved the Ludington area and often referred to it as “his happy place”. Since high school, Greg enjoyed playing the drums. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and friends. Surviving besides his wife Vicki are a son, Samuel Johnson, Saginaw; his father Aubrey “AJ” Johnson, Saginaw; his mother and step-father, Nancy (Gene) Tracy, Saginaw; his twin brother, David (Michelle) Johnson, Winters, California; his brother, Timothy (Amanda) Johnson, Marquette; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kathy (David) Wardell, Midland; Glenn (Naomi) Cawley, Saginaw; his step-sister and step-brothers, Melissa (Jeremy) Helton, Nicholas Tracy and Alec Tracy; many beloved nieces and nephews; his beloved canine companions, Autumn and Liberty. Greg was preceded in death by his sister, Kathryn Johnson; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, John “Pat” and Nina Cawley. Honoring the wishes of the family cremation has taken place. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 5376 State Street. Rev. Fr. Bala Showry Madanu will officiate. He shared a long marriage with Amy Koscielski and together had two beautiful children. Emily Jo and Alex Joseph. Kevin was a machinist at Thompson Ball and Screw and also had his own business, NSK Industries selling tooling for a few years. He was a member of the Catholic Faith and former member of the Knights of Columbus. Kevin was a big outdoor enthusiast enjoying hunting, fishing, hockey and football. Surviving to cherish his memory are one daughter and one son, Emily Jo Schempp and her fiancé Jay Suthard, Alex Joseph and Ariana Schempp; his mother, Marianne Schempp; his sister, Julie and Chad Severson; his brother, Phil and Jodi Schempp; his nieces and nephews, Tyler, Parker, Alyssa, Kelsi, Kyle (Hannah) and their daughter, Sutton; several aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. She attended Birch Run Community Schools, and in 1978, at the age of 16, Pamela met the love of her life, Clyde Risley. On July 22, 2000, they united in marriage. Pam lived a simple life but was filled with love and warmth for those around her. She loved spending time outside, especially in the summer, whether it was sitting on the porch or casting a line while fishing with her beloved husband, Clyde. Her gentle nature made her a favorite amongst children. She may have been quiet, but once you got to know her, she would engage in heartfelt conversations that left a lasting impression. Pamela was an incredible aunt and godmother, always ready with a listening ear and a smile for her loved ones. Maria "Mary" Ann San Miguel Curtin of Saginaw, Michigan Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Hoyt Nursing and Rehab Center. She was 76 years old. Maria Ann San Miguel was born on March 12, 1947, in Alma, Michigan, the fifth child of 14 children, born to the late Hijinio and Louisa (Estrada) San Miguel. She was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School. A proponent of education, Mary attended Delta College throughout her life, receiving an Associate's Degree in criminal justice, as well as certificates in welding and phlebotomy. The role of her lifetime, one she treasured and cherished above all others, was to be a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Mary married Michael Frank Curtin on November 8, 1989; he preceded her in death on July 9, 2003. She enjoyed crafting and making grave blankets for her family members. Mary also enjoyed cooking and was an exceptional baker. Her little piece of heaven was spending time outside gardening. Mary held a special place in her heart for animals, especially her beloved 25-year-old chihuahua, Chewy. Though she could be stubborn and feisty, Mary was fearless in the face of adversity, the master of her fate and the captain of her soul, and a loving, loyal, and kind mother and grandmother always protective of her family. Surviving are two sons and a daughter: Thomas (Lori) Mulvaney of Bay City; Matthew (Monica) Mulvaney of Saginaw; Elisa San Miguel of Midland; four grandchildren: Brett (Sarah) Mulvaney, Brandon (Shari) Mulvaney, Nicholas Mulvaney, and Ava Counts; six great-grandchildren: Liam Mulvaney, Charlie Sue Mulvaney, Brady Mulvaney, Grayson Mulvaney, Myles Mulvaney, and Layne Mulvaney; seven siblings: Geraldine Litwicki, Hijinio (Lucy) San Miguel Jr., Paul San Miguel, Linda San Miguel, Robert San Miguel, Concha (David) Vasquez, and Donna Martinez; a cousin, Zulema Waggoner. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hijinio and Louisa San Miguel; a grandson, Zachary Counts; six siblings: Gabriel San Miguel, Oralia "Ellie" Zizumbo, Rita Wheeler, Jesse San Miguel, Richard San Miguel, and Gilbert San Miguel. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Hoyt Nursing and Rehab Center and A&D Hospice for their patience, kindness, and for treating their mother with dignity and respect.
