Born on November 6, 1968 in the U. S. Virgin Islands, Robert was a native of St. Kitts but resided in St. Thomas for the majority of his life. Due to rapidly declining health, Robert relocated to Orlando, Florida in 2020. Those left to treasure his memory include his mother, Veronica Richards and his son, Robert Richards, Jr. ; his siblings, Eric Richards, Lyndon Tyson, Lydia Tyson, Condaisy Richards, and Tracey Cabral. He also leaves behind a loving friend and companion, Carol Edwards; several aunts and uncles, Sylvia Browne, Fitzroy Smith, Nigel Smith, Maurice Smith, Patricia Smith, Patrick Smith; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Zephaniah Smith and Edith Delores Smith. Visitation and viewing will be held Friday, June 24, 2022 from 11:00 a. m. until 11:45 a. m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Downtown followed by the Funeral Service at 12:00 p. m. Burial will immediately follow the service in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Greer.
