Robert Arthur Milliman, 69, of Oregon, Illinois, passed away on September 25, 2023, after a short illness, with his family by his side He was born on November 17, 1953, in Rochelle, Illinois to Ralph and Vera Milliman Robert, also known as Mush to his friends, was a loving and kind-hearted man who cared deeply for his family and close friends Robert honorably served his country in the United States Navy as a Fireman from 1972 to 1975 He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal with a Bronze Star for his dedicated service After his military service, Robert pursued a career at Woods Equipment Company He dedicated himself to his work and made valuable contributions to the company All who worked with Robert enjoyed his candor and most importantly his sense of humor In his free time, Robert enjoyed riding his motorcycles, indulging in woodworking projects, and cooking Robert's woodworking skills were one of a kind; he created many replicas of buildings and steam engine trains and tractors with amazing intricate details He also enjoyed crafting beautiful wood bowls on his lathe These hobbies brought him joy and allowed him to showcase his creativity and skills Robert is survived by his daughters, Stacie (Jessie) Cantu of La Feria, TX, and Julie (Kevin) Rogers of Oregon, IL, as well as 2granddaughters, 4 grandsons, and 4 step granddaughters He also leaves behind his siblings: Lyford (Debbie) Milliman of Plymouth, IL; Lyle (Diane) Milliman of Glendale, AZ; Eula (Jim) Monahan of Alvin, TX; Butch Milliman of Oregon, IL; Charlene (Randy) McNeill of Morton, IL; and Millie (Earl) Sweig of Meridian, ID He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Vera (Schier) Milliman, as well as two nephews and agreat niece Robert will be remembered for his kind heart, his dedication to his family and friends, and his love for his country He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him A celebration of Robert's life will be held in the spring of 2024 at the Oregon VFW Date, and times will be announced by the family at a later date If you wish to donate towards Robert's memorial, you may do so during his celebration of life A very special thank you to Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon, IL, for their tremendous care and compassion for our father To to the family or in memory of Robert Arthur Milliman, please

Ismael Rivera Guevara April 28, 1959 – October 26, 2023 Ismael Rivera Guevara, 64 of Rochelle, IL passed away suddenly on October 26, 2023. He was born on April 28th 1959 in Humacao, Puerto Rico. Son of Fransico Rivera and Isabel Guevara. Ismael also know as Smiley had a very sociable and uplifting spirit that would make anyone smile and laugh when they spent time together. He always had cheesy jokes to make people around him laugh. He was a hardworking man that even after early retirement, he still worked part time at Del Monte Foods. He loved spending time with his family and his children, playing outdoor games. He enjoyed cornhole, horseshoes and giant Jenga. He also enjoyed playing Guesstures, Loteria and other board games. He enjoyed attending family functions and making lasting memories with everyone, by making them laugh and getting everyone to talk and get everyone involved even when they may not want to play the game. Not only was he outgoing with his family but also with his friends and anyone he got to know. He loved to dance and listen to music until his heart was content. He was a great and loving father that was survived by his children, Ismael Rivera Jr. , Estrellita Rivera, Manuel Fransico Rivera (Rochelle), Mathew and granddaughter Karrma Michelle Rivera. Siblings, Elba Rivera Guevara (sister), Heriberto Rivera (brother), David Rivera (brother), Edwin Rivera from Humacao (brother), Puerto Rico. Angel (aka Yuyo Rap) Luis Rivera (brother) from Florida, Luis (aka Papo) Manuel Rivera of Dekalb, IL. Hermana de corazón, Wilma J. Cordero. He is preceded in death by his parents and also his life partner Irma Estella Losoya, they will be dance together again. One sister Medelicia Rivera and his two brothers Anibal Rivera and Francisco Rivera of Humacao, Puerto Rico. A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 4:00 – 8:00 P. M. at Beverage-Lyons Family Funeral Home, 704 N. 6th St. Rochelle, IL 61068. A visitation will also be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 from 4:00 – 7:00 P. Evelyn C. Fell, 93, of Rochelle, IL passed away on August 18, 2022. Evelyn was born on August 10, 1929 in Lindenwood, IL to Christopher and Helen (Wendorf) Jaeger. Evelyn married her late husband, Roger, on December 27, 1950. She was a life long member of the Lindenwood Immanuel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed sewing and making mission quilts. She volunteered at the Presbyterian Thrift Shop and Hand in Hand food pantry in Rochelle. She painted saw blades and milk cans, as well as painted on canvas. Evelyn baked many wedding cakes and worked for 25 plus years at the Eswood School as a cook. Evelyn is survived by 4 children, Kristy (Bob) Roberson of Rochelle, Shelley (Dennis) Trothing of Santa Clarita, CA, Sandra (Billy) Roberson of Rochelle and Tracy (Steve) Komadina of Rochelle; A daughter-in-law, Chris Fell of Genoa; As well as 16 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents; Her husband, Roger Fell; A son, Zann Fell; As well as siblings, Myrtle, Mabel, Raymond and Lucille. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 22, 2022 from 10:00 - 11:00 A. M. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 16060 E Lindenwood Rd, Lindenwood, IL 61049. A funeral service will take place immediately afterwards at 11:00 A. M. with a graveside service to follow out to Lindenwood Cemetery in Lindenwood, IL.
