Amber Lynn Emitt Lacey age 44 of Powell, passed away suddenly Wednesday, February 27, 2024. She was of the Baptist Faith. Amber was a graduate of Halls High School and the University of Tennessee with a bachelor's degree in Human Ecology. Former employee of Knox County Juvenile Court. Preceded in death by father; Donnie L Emitt; grandparents, Howard and Hattie Will Bee, and Harry and Mildred Emitt. Survivors, husband of 15 years, Jerry Lacey; children, Hudson and Sawyer Lacey; parents, Janice Emitt and Edward Jones, step father; siblings, Denise Omary (Joe), Olivia Sturgill (Larry) and Amanda Kane (Adam); several nieces, nephews and numerous cousins. There will be a Celebration of Life visitation on Monday, March 4, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home Powell Chapel. Family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Greenwood Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service and interment, Pastor David Collins officiating. Jo Ellen Eaves, age 90, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Morning Pointe Assisted Living Facility in Powell, Tennessee. She was born December 31, 1933 in Nashville, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Robert Joseph Kleiser, II and Wenonah Martin Burnett Kleiser. She was firm in her faith in the Lord and was a member of First Baptist Church in Dickson, Tennessee. She loved spending time with family, traveling, baking, sewing, crocheting, painting, gardening, and had a keen eye for how to decorate her home to make it look elegant. She is preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Denton Eaves, son, Michael Denton Eaves, brother, Robert Joseph Kleiser, III, and sister, Carol Mai Hill. Mrs. Eaves is survived by her son Stephen Richard Eaves (wife Linda) and her daughter Vicky Lynn Eaves Cowan (husband Mike). She is also survived by four grandchildren April Cowan Clark (husband Frank), Jennifer Cowan Jones (husband Anthony), Samuel Denton Eaves, and Holly Nicole Eaves; along with five great-grandchildren, Alan Michael Clark, Peter Michael Jones, Ella Lynn Clark, Emma Kay Clark, and Mary Jo Jones. The Gathering of Family and Friends will be on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 1 pm at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. Michael Anthony (Gregorio DasPadre Nolan) Guido was born February 13, 1962. Just short of his 62nd birthday, Michael Guido’s battle with cancer came to a peaceful end surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was born at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, MS. His love for service and the outdoors was passed down from his father Glenn Nolan, and from his mother, Geraldine Guido, he learned a compassion and unconditional love that spread like wildfire. Harry Edmunds, Don Wroblewski, Remo and Jan Ficca were a large role in building his character from a young age. At the age of 17, he enlisted in Military and ran with the 82nd Airborne, worked as a OR Technician and computer security specialist at the Pentagon when he retired after 20 years of service. He continued his career in cyber security, after settling down in Lower Burrell, PA, he served the community as a chaplain and firefighter with the Lower Burrell Fire Department station 69, mentored youth for a local chess club, and helped his neighbors in any way he was could. In 2014 he settled in Powell, TN with his wife Angie to watch his grandchildren grow. Continuing in his volunteer work, he became the den leader for his local Cub Scouts (Pack 157) with his two grandchildren. He was a pillar of the community helping serve his church and neighbors. He met no strangers, leaving his signature fist bumps with everyone he met. Michael was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Jeri and Joe Guido; father, Glen Nolan; and sister Jill. Michael is survived by his wife of 32 years, Angelika; son, Tony (Lindsay) Nolan; daughter, Beth (Travis) Pennington; daughter, Ekleana Guido; grandchildren, Emma and Connor; sister, Lisa Guido; niece, Sarra; brother, Brian (LeeAnn) Guido; niece, Gabriella; nephew, Caleb. And a long list of extended family and friends. The family will honor Michael with a receiving of friends on Saturday, February 10th 2024 at 1:00pm at Powell Presbyterian Church, 2910 Emory Rd., Powell, TN 37849, with full military honors to follow at 2:00pm and a Celebration of life to follow. Services to be officiated by Rev. Dr. Katina Sharp. A fellowship meal will be provided by his church family. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt and she will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Shubert and Ina Lee Lamb; and daughter, Hope Dalton. She was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky in 1947, and was the daughter of Edgar and Ruby Poore. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Powell since 1984. She is survived by her husband, Escoe; children, Kelly Gordon (Kristie) and Denise Hickman (Todd); grandchildren, Preston, Tyler, Pierson, Victoria and Parker; sisters, Betty Parker and Nancy Walker; brother, Arnold Poore. Robert "Bob" Louis Greene, age 91, of Powell, TN, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, the 9th of January, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Sonja Cook Greene; daughter, Donna (Jeff) Prendergast; sons, Scott (Melody) Payne, David Greene, and Patrick Payne; grandchildren, Tori (Michael) O'Neal, Mary Cate (Jeffrey) O'Neil, Sam (Autumn) Prendergast, Benjamin Payne, Diana Greene, Kristina Greene, Elena Greene. Bob was born on October 20, 1932 in Sallis, MS to the late Walter D. and Myrle Boyett Greene. He is survived by his brother, Jim (Gail) Greene. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Billy.Bob was a graduate of Mississippi State University, and honorably served his country in the United States Navy. He worked for many years as an electrical engineer for Siemens. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Powell, and taught Bible study for many years. When Bob met his beautiful wife, Sonja, it was love at first sight. They had a wonderful life together for more than 46 years. They shared their faith, a love of family, and enjoyed working in their garden together. His children and grandchildren often sought his advice and wisdom, which was always given with patience and kindness. He was a true Southern gentleman.Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel, Blue Ridge, GA with Gary Crotty, M. Div. officiating. Music will be provided by Vicki and Chris Fontana. Internment will follow at the Crestlawn Cemetery, Copperhill, TN with Scott Payne, Patrick Payne, Sam Prendergast, Benjamin Payne, Jeffrey O'Neil, and Michael O'Neal serving as pallbearers.
